Hey guys. Just sharing my experience with you all. I was using water to lubricate before I found this stuff. HIGHLY recommend it now.

It comes in little containers that pop open very similar to the moisturizer for fingers when counting money in many retail/bank jobs. As far as I can tell its some kind of water based wax product. Could not find a msds online to be sure. But I experimented with it a bunch and it makes sculpting really easy making sure the Gs sticks to the model and not your tools. It also seems to just ware off/rub off with use. No issues with more Gs sticking later or paint so far. So you don't need to go crazy cleaning it off like you would with petroleum jelly or vaseline.

Give it a go if you can find it. It's a lubricant for light bulbs so that they are easy to remove later when they burn out. Bulb-ez. Again highly recommended.

Thanks. But no. I have no interest in using that stuff. I was letting the community know about something I had found.

Hell, the FX industry uses KY jelly in industrial quantities sometimes.

ALL that drool in the ALIEN movies?

Yup, it's KY.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Yup. Predator blood is KY and green glow sticks. It kept drying out. they had to produce it constantly.

Point is, why use something that costs $5 when you can use something that costs $1.50

I would be rather surprised if bulb ez isn't just repackaged KY

Because 1) It is definitely not KY. It's more of a solid then anything else. There is basically no clean up because it just rubs off as you work. And because it doesn't cost 5.00. It MAYBE costs you 3 for a small container that I have yet to make a dent in and will probably last me the better part of this year.
