That scenery connector sprue is pretty cool. I really like the computer screen and the... well, everything. Nice job, Mantic.

So if the box is 10 Pathfinders and 10 Rats, does that mean the Rats are Pathfinder-level elite models?

I'm sure the next stretch goal will be more rats. Or at least we'll get more eventually.

No, they'll add another 5 Blaines first....

I'd expect more rats, more terrain, mousepad mat, about 8 special characters, then the meat of new armies.

and Giant Rats which I hope are rat ogre style and not just big rats.

NEW STRETCH GOALS $125,000 Veer-myn Stalkers

As with all sections of Veer-myn society, within the Night-Crawlers there sit identifiable sub classes, one of the most numerous of which have been dubbed Stalkers. Stalkers are some of the few Veer-myn which human troops have seen close up as the rabid creatures are driven into close combat with their enemy. Whether this is due to a genetic disorder or disease which overrides the Veer-myn’s natural caution, or the result of drugs bringing on violent episodes is unknown, and usually at the back of a corporation trooper’s mind as the Veer-myn leap across the battlefield, gobs of froth foaming across their jaws.

If we hit this stretch goal, we will add new hard plastic options to the sprue to create hand weapon and pistol wielding Veer-myn Stalkers.

This means that the ten Veer-myn you already get in Quarantine can be built as either Night-Crawlers or Stalkers.

We are also giving you one bonus sprue of 5 Veer-myn Miniatures, taking the total number up to 15!

I've bought Forgeworld models from China that were less fake than this goal!

I tried calling them out on the SG "letting us make Stalkers from the sprue" when it's obvious that was always a choice from the initial images, they're trying to argue otherwise and change the subject, lol...

I fairness, some FW pieces from China are less fake than actual FW pieces

I think we all know that we won't see anything genuinely new until $200k - $250k

Errr... I am pretty sure that this is an added sprue - not stuff added to the same sprue.

And if this were GW having that extra sprue would allow them to charge twice as much for the 'included elite version'....

wow, this is actually a small short KS, i have to think about this one

I like that it's a small campaign. I think they figure it cuts down on the slow middle part of a campaign, and if folks can't back in time they can always pledge $1 and then be able to order what they want later in the pledge manager.

So, when is this one going to show up?

Looks like the pistol-toting Pathfinder in the main pic, with a head swap.

Hopefully they have more than 5 head options on the sprue! I think they always have, historically.

On topic, this does look nice.
Like others have said, hoping they give Jake/team the proper amount of time to playtest not only rules but the forces themselves and their interactions with the rules.
And enough time to do a good layout/editing.

My DZ books looks like Frankenstein's patchwork with physical stickies added all over to reflect edits missed with the original book.

Next up:

NEW STRETCH GOAL $150,000 Pathfinder D.O.G Drone

The Deployable Offensive Gun Platform, or DOG drone, was developed after the lack of Pathfinder heavy firepower was identified as a major contributing factor to failure of missions when facing heavy plague resistance at first contact. The DOG drone’s quadrupedal chassis and internal gyroscope allow it to traverse the roughest of terrain, and purpose-built recoil dampeners mean it can be equipped with the kind of heavy weaponry otherwise unavailable to a Pathfinder.

If we hit this stretch goal, we will upgrade the hard plastic Enforcer Pathfinder sprue to include a D.O.G Drone, which comes with weapon options for either a Burst Laser or Comms Dish.

You already get two Pathfinder sprues in the Quarantine pledge, meaning you will now get two Enforcer Pathfinder D.O.G Drones included as well!

I don't think they mean mission cards, but the stat cards. So they have the rules for the armies in the books. I don't mind that.

Well it's mmm different I'd rather it had tracks than legs but I guess it would just be another sentry gun then.

I think rules need to be both places. Presented nicely with cool art, bio and full rules in the book, plus a handy stat card for easy reference when you play.. Like Warmahordes. At the very least, if they don't want to print all those cards, they should do free PDFs you can download and print out yourself.

Haven't read the comment in question, but I personally wouldn't mind the book having an appendix with all the Stats in, just for reference, but I hope stat cards remain, simply as they are a handy way to keep track of things.

That drone is awful. With so many real world designs being deployed and tested as examples of what really works, to go with legs like that is just bad.
