All I've read about the maleceptor is negative nothing good but I do see potential for it, I'll give it a few runs if it's terrible as mentioned I'll drop it. The Prime I thought provided enough synapse up the board for when models move up. I will make two groups of 15 should be ok. And the synapse is deliberate it will provide more than enough as well as make opponent debate what to focus on. This is my mentality behind it, but I could be entirely wrong haha.
Nope, its not very good, you should spend those points on something else...I strongly approve of bringing buckets of Synapse, I do that myself. But some of yours is in poor performing packages...Both Tyrgon Prime, and Swarmy are overcosted for what you get, most likely you will get better value if you spend your points else where.
Other nit picks are much smaller...Tervigon should take a Thorax hive for 10, best 10 points you're likely to spend.

I like Hormies in Broods of 15+ so I would run two of x15, rather than one x10, and 1 of x20.
Without a specific reason to take it Swarmlord is not a good purchase, you'll get far more value from a second Winged Tyrant (Brain Leeches x2, Thorax hive) If you are going to run a Tervigon, Hive Commander can be dang usefull, as it lets you Outflank a
MC that spawns Troops into the foes backfield.
There are plenty of good lists posted here to give inspiration, so if you need any just take a look.

The other spot to look is taking a Formation, they often add good value to a build.

If you use magnets, you can reconfigure the Malancepter into a Toxicrene. It is a
CC monster in a game that punishes
CC (currently) but with a Tyrannocyte you might find it useful.
