They both look like fun lists. But your BugZilla! list has no gribblies to take the overwatch/provide cover saves, dropping a couple of Warrior Broods, and popping in some Hormies might make for a better experience...

I did pick up some termagants after building this. I have yet to get a game in yet. I will have to see how it goes. I actually chose the biggest bugs you could run(outside of tervigons as troops because they require tiny bugs). The idea is if I go second the tyrants will be providing cover out front with jink up and venomthropes giving their jink a boost.

Certainly worth a try. My own experience has been that I want a screen of cheap gribblies to give cover to my Big Bugs.

If you're just getting started, I suggest running at lower point levels, like say 1500 till you get a feel for what your preferred style is, then think about adding a Formation to boost up to the 1850 to 2000 point range.

Good luck! And welcome to the Hive Mind!

I have played Tyranids since 3rd edtion. I just usually end up selling them off each edition. This is the first models I picked up for 7th.

Cool, then you should take a look at taking a Formation.

Both are awesome. But 5 tyrants puts so many eggs in one basket, so I don't like it. My current fav is SkyTyrant. And I keep wanting to like Hyper Toxic Node.

Thank you. I made it using the dimensions I found and it came out pretty good. Just need some guns and a few more details. Now I want a whole table worth of Alien terrain.

I would find the points to give your flyrants electroshock grubs.

The 5 tyrant list has them. There isn't much room to squeeze in for electroshock on the other list and have 3 guns that they won't shoot when the carnifexs can deal with any av higher then 12 in combat if they have to.
