Hi guys,
this is my very first post in this forum. Greetings to everyone here. I started some month ago with an "Europa" (Europe) themed Astra Militarum Army. Well, i am a very patient painter, so I havent done much yet, but i want to share my Wyvern with you. Do you like it? Honest criticism is welcome.

I think this is the first painted Wyvern I've seen, haha.
The colors are very bright; they remind me of Cygnar.

Well it is not a dark blue (like ultramarines) but in sunlight it is not shining or so. I paint my Army in a blue/yellow (european like) color scheme because the flag of the EU is blue/yellow (12 yellow stars on blue ground).

. I painted my trooper in the same colo scheme (pictures below). I find it fits verry well

As a little kid i painted som LOTR miniatures but i did a break until begin of 2014. I painted some skaven clanrats first followed by the Astra Militarum. So you can say i am *new* too the hobby.

I'm not quite sold on the McDonald's-yellow color (no offence, it's just the only way for me to describe the color) but I quite like the rest of the theme. I love the attention to detail, especially on the weathering.

yes the yellow is verry offensive. But in a time where camouflage does not matter because wave for wave millions of soliders and tanks are send in the battle (This is the typical strategies from the AM) I chose a the bright yellow because everyone can see immidiate "this is the force of euope". well but this is just my fantasy background-story thinking of my army

btw i tried a test model with a darker blue and darker yellow but i did not like it so i chose this scheme.

They look great! I do think the Chimera needs to be more dirty like the Wyvern though. It's too clean right now

Yes. i started with the box "cadian armoured fist". The Wyvern is a later model so i had more exp. of how to paint. If i find some time, I will add some weather and damage effects.

I could tell you were newer when you called them Astra Militarum instead of Imperial Guard

Really *Really* clean paintjobs across the board with a really fun inspiration. Awesome job!

EDIT: Come to think of it, they remind me of what I imagined the 'Bluebloods' from Gaunt's Ghosts would look like.
