I'm going to guess that it's toothpicks and hotglue sprayed black.

Thank you. Just have to decide what guns I am going to use to count as the heavy bolters then should get to painting.

Pretty close. Its a wire frame and the spikey bits are toothpicks. It is covered in hotglue then coated in plastidip.

First attempt at the heads. Sanded the eyes off and made top smooth then filled with liquid greenstuff to make it blend better. After they are painted going to use a paint on gloss on the top.
