Great paintjob!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Fantastic paint job, man. You've managed to make brown a truly interesting color to look at.

Got any tips or secrets on how you achieved the look? I would love to give it a try on some stonework later on.

Many Dakka users feel that it is appropriate to identify commissions as such up front. Either with a tag in the title, or just a friendly "hey, this is a commission." Even a prominent studio tag in the image (at the top, rather than the bottom) is fine. Otherwise, some folks can feel like they got lured in to look at a fellow amateur hobbyist's work, only to find themselves looking at what instead is, essentially, an advertisement for a commission service.

Just a friendly heads-up! Very lovely Tau thus far!

I... actually don't know. Help?

That is beautiful. I could add a political joke about you Russians invading Sweden, but that would be inappropriate.

I do not understand this either. Demidov was showcasing some of his work. Even if it was a commission, I don't see why it would matter if all he was doing was displaying something that he did. Nowhere in his post did he make this an advertisement.

Anyways, great work Demidov! These are very awesome! How many firewarriors do you plan on doing like this?

Fantastic work on the armour -I've rarely seen a rank and file model done to such a high standard. Inspirational
