You should equip your Sorcerers with Spell Familiars.
It's a bit confusing to select Detachments, but you can't ally the same Faction of CSM with itself. You can run a double CAD or take Daemons as an Allied Detachment.
Four Heldrakes is a bit overkill, and I would consider getting a third Vindicator instead. Without a huge need for a second Detachment, I would use a single CAD.

Just curious, what is the reasoning for VotLW on the plague marines? I thought they were already fearless?
Also, combi-melta's on the vindicators might be overkill. I feel like freeing up those points could give you some more bodies to flesh out your primary troops squads.

Hmm, its a good point. 4 Dragons is overkill to the max. Problem is I dont have another Vindicator model. As well, I have other models like defilers and helbrutes to fill in space. Got a decimator I could throw in place of the second CAD.
The tournaments im going to play in allows 2 CAD but no allies from another codex. T.T Otherwise this would be a daemon ally list.

VotLW is not just for Ld, but for Hatred.
Combi-upgrades are good against Weapon Destroyed results. Though they will attract enough firepower which will often cripple them or simply unable to shoot for the turn. Daemonic Possession is good.
If you're allowed proxies, you could use the Rhinos as Vindicators.

Sadly no proxies as it is tournament. I was thinking Daemonic Possession for the vinis. Just dont want to add too much to them.
Im still 100 points over and I dont know what to drop. Maybe typhus and take another Sorc. hah

Shouldn't your Plague Marines be Elites? You have to have a Lord with MoN(Thypus or Abbadon count) to make them troops. If doing a double CAD then they could go with Typhus and be troops.

I Agree with flitch, you can only have 1 melta in a 5 man CSM squad.
I would drop the VotlW on the plague marines and combine the two CSM squads into a 10 man squad with 2 melta's.
You could go for a hellcult formation ( 2 units of cultists + hellbrute) if you want to swap out a vindi or helldrake

I might consider a dark apostle in with a larger group of cultist or zombies. More troops and meet on the ground. If you are taking Typhus I would consider Zombies, if you are after a Sorcerer..Imperial armor/Apoc from Fw has one dedicated to nurgle I might consider for that slot. To go with theme. The Heldrakes are good what are you running them with I would not use flamers on all of them personally its not an answer for everything but it will punch an infantry list in the face. The Vindicators are good. Demolishers are always nice. I'm looking to buying Thunderers or Demolishers for my IG list if you pull one out.you pull both. Never run less then two! (leave them though. I support this choice). What are you going for with this list? Overall what kind of goal are you trying to reach with it?
But yes, I would:
Remove Vindicator Meltas
Then
Add the Nurgel Sorc. From IA/apoc
Or
Add the Nurgle Sorc with more Cultists
Or
Drop a Drake and Add both the DA And the Sorc and the Cultists

Hmm. I was thinking about running Typhus with 2x 10 man squads of zombies, then adding the vets to a second CAD CSM allies list. That would give me around 6 troops.
Just generally trying to get a lot of anti infantry and anti air with the dragons, then the ground is clean up. Or the ground cracks mechs then dragons burn whats just been opened. Im just worried about being our psykered or some eldar tricks. Automatically Appended Next Post: Not sure why i Choose typhus, maybe just to make vets troops to give more melta guns / man. Also considering giving the Sgt for the vets each a CCW or plasma but thats just EATING up points.

If you're fielding Typhus, then make all your scoreing troops zombies (just camp on the obj).
Otherwise, I wouldn't field him.
With that many Heldrakes, I'd swap out the vindi for Maulerfiends.

See new notes above.
and with the new info..i might run one Drake with The flamer..the other two with Auto cannons more all purpose with those I think. Typhus is a good choice I'd still consider a couple amendments. Its not a bad list. Play test it and tool a little. If you want more melta I might push for a dreadclaw and a vet squad..its a turn one dead something

Why Vindi for fiends? i dont understand, they have less range, and can get locked in cc with chumps. Automatically Appended Next Post: Munit'kad wrote:See new notes above.

Couldn't do all zombies..maulers are good..with the Autos..better range little more all purpose but the Vindis are solid. I'd still make the same suggestions the zombie horde is great..but you loose multiple object flexibility..and if a knight rolls up and gets his stomp on a 6 you've lost the whole unit and it doesn't matter anymore (assuming that hasn't been changed or errata'd) Automatically Appended Next Post: Dreadclaw = take a dropod invert the wings add spikes lol. The autos on the fiends come out to 36" vs the vindis 24" but the vindi has ordnance and out right killing power. So its really players preference there

I think typhus in the main detachment only makes cultist in main detachment into zombies.
The way you have it set up I would just take a Lord with MoN.

The comment above suggests dropping typhus entirely. the main reason hes there is to make the Plague marines troops and give a decently hard to kill Warlord. I could find room for zombies, it just determing if I would rather drop the typhus, and take plague bearers in a Daemon Allies. That would give the 'zombies' the cover save they would need. but no FNP.... this seems to be the biggest kink in making this nurgle list. To typhus or not to typhus....
By dropping him down to a basic lord with MoN, I free up 150 points. What would I do with them?

That's a rough question..i would be in favor of more bang per buck in this kind of list. The more on the field the better. If you could strike first or fast in turns one and two I might keep typhus and run the list as is with some alterations here and there. From an Imperials perspective...i need to..turn one rhino's, turn two Vindis (if not turn one) and your infantry is mop up because I'm not giving you armor saves at that point. In the end..the turkeys are what would worry me.

THIS! this is exaclt the comment im looking for. The other side of the table kinda view. So you think 4 rhinos doing Objective rush is a good plan? The rhino itself can score if im not mistaken, that means I can drive, drop off the marines, then drive to another objective to score it next turn. effectively claiming two objective with one squad and one mech. Is this still legal?

Yes! I punch a pair down.a.turn and if I'm having a good.day I'll put the contents of them.down as well or at least put a hurt on the squad. The more objects and targets you can field to.force a.capture or true someone up the better. in my opinion
