Hello!
I’m looking for help with my start-up Ork army to be used for casual play. I’m not very experienced, so input is very much appreciated.
I’ve attempted to make a land-pirate themed list, somewhere in between mad max and your regular orks – flashy wagons, high speed and YAARRRGH!
Sooo… will it work, or is it lacking in some respect?

There’s basically two troop-delivery BWs, one BW with gitz to bring the thunder and two trukks withs boyz. The two troop-delivery BWs are outfitted to ram/wreck heavy armor, and one of them has a Kill kannon and shootas to fire at infantry. I was really attempting to fit in either a big meck with shokk attack and a runt herd, or a gork/morkanaut, but I fear the points just won't cover it.

get rid of 1 PK and the BC's from your nob squad and use the points to get more models.

I don't have my rulebook close by for now, but does putting the Killkannon on the Flash Gitz BW would handicap them in some way? Because if you do that, you can have 2 BW and 2 trukk that can flat out first turn, while the other BW stand behind and pummel stuff. You dont need to be close with the Flash as their gun is 24Inch IIRC and they aren't Rapid Fire so you don't need to cut that distance. So stick to 24inch, and shoot away. Don't forget that the transport and the troop inside don't need to aim at the same thing.
If you do switch the Kill Kannon, I can see something like:
10Gitz BW with Killkannon. Attached a Painboy here and you are gold.
8 nobz + warboss in trukk or Wagon. (You could even do 2 small squad in Trukk, or 2 MANz Missile)
and the rest as it is.
Lastly, If you don't play Maelstorm and more kill point, switch Da Finkin Kap for a Lucky Stikk.

Mounting the kill kannon on the flash-gitz wagon shouldn't affect them. I'll try reshaping the list later!
Do you think this list will be weak against certainn opponents/meta?

Id have to agree here. Your list looks pretty legit, but remember that orks are godawful shots. Strip some guns off the battlewagons.

I was thinking "more is more", if I fire enough rounds, something is bound to hit! But yeah, BS 2 on the BWs isn't exactly thrilling.
Here's a new list. What should I drop if In order to get more models/boyz on the board? I'm a bit reluctant to drop too much of the BW firepower (wrecking balls and such) since I don't have a lot of AP or high strength weaponry.

I can never condone nobs, I keep putting the math out ghaz and people who love them run them anyway, but honestly they are a point sink that serve no purpose. If you want math on your post I'll supply it. Flashgitz are great on the other hand, but ditch the zap gun. Kill kannons are fine but put it on a bw the gitz aren't in to draw for away from them. As someone mentioned snazzguns are assault so I move them 12" turn one and snapshoot at a unit. That turn they do next to nothing but that actually works to your advantage. It makes them look like a useless non priority target. Turn two however they become bs 4 and have great field position. I generally stay in the wagon most of the game with them, but if I unit looks like they want to be close I let them move closer, disembark fire and charge them. They are still nobs after all at a cost of -6 points for an amazing gun.

And you only need that painboy with your Flashgitz if they are your only real threat on the table. But if you drop the nobs you can have a manz unit or two or some bikers giving you another threat. Grabbing claws and wrecking balls are wasted points too use roots rokkits not big shootas on bws because you're going to be trying to kill armored targets or higher toughness targets with the gitz not looks with no armor. Looks can be eaten by shootas fire.
