So i've been out of the Warhammer loop for a while and have decided to renew my interest with a little bit of conversions to my Cadians, I was wondering if anyone had images of these particular pieces on Imperial Guard models so i can see how they look before i actually make a purchase for my 40 odd Veterans.

So to start off with,

Groin Plate

Reasonably Priced Respirators

Anyone able to lend a hand?

In addition to this, with the Gasmask/Helmet combo. How would you best suggest that i paint that?

I'd say a green gas mask with silver filter canisters would be awesome, along with maybe a grey or brown helmet to avoid distracting from the mask. A tiny bit of gold around the goggles will draw the eye to look under the helmet.

And I don't have pictures but I'll bet you a shiny dime they'll look better than Cadian bubblehats

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Well one of the considerable issues is my Unit is themed to be an Urban Combat unit and has many different shades of grey's and blacks. I'm not entirely sure how i want to paint up the helmet/mask combination without using to many redundant colors. Right now most of the actual equipment on the Guardsmen is Boltgun Grey with a wash to 'dull' the color a bit. Suggestions as far as that goes?
