Hey Dakka,
So theres going to be a friendly tornement at my LGC. But it has some slightly odd rules: Must have 3 toops, 2 hq minimum, cannot take any transports. Generly at my LGC theres mostly marines, 1 eldar player, 2 tau players, 1 guard player whos troop heavy and an ork player.

I decided not to take the Decurion detachment as it felt a little too much for a friendly tornement, I also dont have any anti air.

so hq's join warriors (not sure whos going where yet) and I just march the warriors foward with support from the annihlation nexus formation. tomb blades go after any light vehicles and/or any troops in cover (souts/pathfinders ect)

So...What do you think?

Looks ok. Couple of things.

Royal Court - What's your plan with those guys? Not sure if they are necessary unless you have a specific plan.

Annihilation Nexus - Seems pretty expensive / Overkill?

The thing that I think your list is missing is a bunch of CC so maybe swap the nexus for a load of wraiths and bring the doomsday ark on its own? Or if you own any, a Doomscythe?

Royal Court joins one of the squads of warriros (cryptek joins the other and Illuminor Szeras joins the last) trying to get as my 5++/4+RP as I can without the Decurion (no decurion is mainly cause theres this other necron guy who is going to take it and I didnt want to).

Annihilation Nexus is expensive I guess but I did it because its models I own (only other vehicles i own is a stalker with guass and a ghost ark =/ )

I dont own a Doom scythe nor will I have the time to buy one and get it built/painted as the start of the tournament is in 3 days.

if youre running that many warriors and szeras why wouldnt you run the Stalker? Wait Triarch Stalker or Tomb Stalker? If its triarch then put him behind one unit of warriors have the other two flank him and have a massive gun line of 60-120+ shots at BS 5 that wound or glance anything on a six. also making Szeras BS5 is a great idea as his lance does work against vehicles.

Finding the points for the Triarch stalker, in my pre 7thed codex games the stalker was always a target and generally caused first blood.

I was thinking about doing exactly what you said, I just dont quite know.

What dragoon suggested is totally correct. The bs5 combo is both popular and very good. You will not be disappointed.

Pair um up, and then pair those up with a couple Ghost Arcs. That with your already secured Nexus provides at least 7 AV 13 hulls. Then, at least if the Stalkers are taking fire they are doing so in lie of some other very good equipment.

Also, if you are really worried about Stalker survivability, bring the HGC. The extra range, plus some cover from ABs/GAs, will generally keep him alive for at least the first couple crucial rounds.

It's a slightly differently looking profile, but the base could be something like this::

Replaced the RC with Nemesor, dropped one brick and a single TB for the Stalkers and Ghost Arcs. Also, split the TBs into 3 x 3, might as well I think to maximize targets and firepower.

Just a suggestion. I think that would be a pretty solid list, though.

Yeah thats the problem i have like 1 maybe 2 days i think no one day (its tomorrow) And i dont down 2 stalkers nor do I own Nemesor, the rest I can do I guess, Ether way tomorrow iam going to find out.
