The title says it all. Personally I love running Defiant and Ch'Tang builds on Dominion War missions, Romulan neutral zone patrols and TOS Klingons how about y'all?

Besides Borg, and people can whine all they want, I loved them in TNG and their connection to Sisko, I am currently loving fleet pure Romulan, and I am planning out a Mirror Universe fleet based on the Shatner novels (where Mirror Spock can't rein in Kirk and Kirk ends up the first Emperor of the Alliance), something like the ISS Enterprise, and a couple of Mirror Galors or something. I also want to do a list involving the other set of Mirror Universe novels which I like so much better (Glass Empires, Obsidian Alliances, Rise Like Lions, Shards and Shadows, and Sorrows of Empire). This will be more mixed to get some of the characters in, I really think Picard9 captures the Picard of that series so very well.

Have to say the more my wife expands her dominion forces, the more the Cardassian pure of that faction appeals to me.
Love my romulans, end of Dominion war, with mostly D'Ds and some Valdores thrown in, perhaps with an experimental Scimitar (in my mind's eye, due to it's shape, it utilizes captured Dominion tech) and reman shock troop boarding parties, is very appealing, that part of the Dominion war you didn't get to see from way over on the DS9. I want to get some decent shapeways ships to represent the older ships though, instead of the BoP shapes, to represent movie era/excelsior counterparts (and I might look into another faction's ships to represent the more recent predecessors to the D'D, here's looking at you K'tinga).
Which brings me to perhaps my favorite fleet, which is latter Dominion War Federation, a real hodgepodge of ships, yet with a clear and identifiable theme. I also love mirror universe Terran Empire paintjobs and have toyed with the idea of creating a second mirror, where the Empire never fell, but in the classic tradition of Red Dwarf, everyone's genders are swapped, making the cards from templates and using best fit for the reverses, Picard played by Helen Mirran, Sisko by Angela Bassett etc.

Pure cardie is now viable and vicious, however, I still love the crappy ol' Breen!

And if some bright spark was to make this, then we could use the cruiser or battleship cards...

Not a huge number of trek ones, or at least not non Federation races. Lots of star wars. One guy has done the big Breen cruiser from online iirc. Shapeways minis tend to be very grainy also.

Some time back, Paramount sent it's legal dobermans into Shapeways and got them to nuke a huge host of great and not so great sculptors down.
Recently, someone, mentioning no names but I have a strong feeling I know who, is going about on shapeways reporting all the decent sculptors of Trek stuff to shapeways, who, like ebay etc, shut down and don't bother to investigate.
And I think the 'grainy' issue depends on the material used. The fine detail stuff is grain free.

I saw that the guy that does the more awesome stuff posted in the Facebook group about his stuff being taken down (he suspected a competitor). Real disappointing because his step between Valdore and D'D was an awesome ship, also whoever painted it did an amazing job.
I just bought someone's huge lot of Dominion stuff (at least 1 of everything up til the Reklar), and a bunch of Galor's (of the Borg/Cardassian Variety) are in serious contention for the next OP.

I think I saw that lot you are talking about. That was a good deal. If its the guy I am thinking about he also had a huge Romulan lot with 8 Praetus' and 6 Scimitars I love me some Romulans and I have 6 Praetus' by default, but I can't imagine 6 Scimitars though. Lol crazy.

Possibly it was 16 ships for like 6.25 each and had a couple prize ships in it. I ended up buying out the stuff he had left so I also got the Dominion War prize ds9 And the card pack along with a bunch of resources and game acessories. The lot was way too cheap to pass up and now gives me way more than enough stuff to run a huge "Battle for Deep Space 9" event at a local con this fall.

Yeah that is too good to pass up. DS9 battles are a lot of fun. Just set it up at fhe local store let people jump in and out of the game, it really catches the eyenon the table. If you build it they will come.
