I was wondering something, what us the endgame for Chaos Undivided? Complete takeover of the materium? Also, how exactly does Chaos Undivided work? It's really hard for there to be hope/schemes (Tzeentch) while there is despair (Nurgle).

Chaos undivided can work in several ways
It can be that the followers hate the imperium and use whatever sect of chaos to help achieve their goal
Or in a Black Crusade type scenario where you may have a bunch of different types of worshippers trying to accomplish a similar goal through a mutually beneficial alliance.

Chaos Undivided is a combination of all four of the Four Chaos Gods, that might even encompass some of the lesser known powers out there, so basically Chaos as a whole. It is formulated by followers of Chaos who worship the powers in equal measure believing it to be the only way to, safely I guess, worship chaos otherwise they believe you will risk insanity and destruction.
The Chaos powers would obviously like it were you to praise them individually, but any worship is better than none.

Basically. Chaos Undivided was invented by the Word Bearers as a "better" form of Chaos worship that would grant all the benefits with none of the drawbacks. The actual results were... more mixed. Still mutates people and drives them crazy, just in a more "balanced" way, instead of making them completely obsessed with one thing.
The Word Bearers, and other "fundamentalist" Undivided worshipers like them want every sentient being in the galaxy to either worship Chaos or be dead.
But Chaos Undivided also works well for those with a more mercenary nature, because you can get a little help from your "friends on the other side" without having one of the Chaos gods completely own you. Since Nurgle, Tzeentch, Slaanesh, and Khorne (and a hodgepodge of lesser gods) have a lot of contradictory desires, you can do something that would piss off one god and the others will jump in to keep that god from zapping you or turning you into a spawn. So you have a lot more freedom of action than a worshiper of Khorne, who needs to constantly satisfy Khorne and not do anything to upset Khorne. Just don't tick off too many of the gods at once, or you're still gonna get zapped.

Like I said, hence the 'believing' part.
I would say that Chaos Undivided wasn't invented by the Word Bearers but made popular by them as there were other races worshiping chaos beforehand, take the Davinites for example, or the Nurthene.
I'll also argue that it's easier to piss off another god when you are undivided as you have to praise them in equal measure. If you were to invoke Khorne before battle you would have to sacrifice a virgin to Slaanesh, read a book to Tzeentch and get a cold off of Nurgle to keep them all happy. Whereas if you just follow Khorne, all you have to do is reap skulls.

as for the gods themselves, chaos undivided generally isn't a thing except in rare cases where they have a case of "this is in ALL our intreasts" like stopping the plots of the Emperor, for example.

Chaos Undivided as a force, i.e. the collective goals of the "Chaos Gods Big & Small" is, like most forms of life, to continue to exist tomorrow. This means a galaxy rich with both life and strife. I.e., current 40k.
In many respects, Chaos "won" the Horus Heresy, just not in the manner Horus wanted.
Spanners in the works can come from the Emperor getting stuff done (and either stalemating or replacing Chaos), outside forces (Tyranids, Necrons) completing their own endgame (and thus choking the life from Chaos) or Chaos itself being too successful and accidentally wiping out humanity itself.
