Skins: See heroes

Just what could they actually even add to an expansion that wouldn't change it up from a standard moba.

Regular patchs are already bringing all of those three. I agree with you that Blizzard will likely just regularly offer new stuff for sale rather than regroup them into an extension.

Too early to tell frankly. They have a few projects a blizzard that have yet to be announced.

I just bought Sgt. Hammer, and I am loving the tank. Never have I had a character who so totally eschewed pvp in favor of maximizing their dmg to structures. It could only be improved if they released a Steam Tank hero whose basic attacks cannot harm opposing players.

Also, I have come into some beta keys if any of you want a piece of this addictive, and incredibly expensive game. PM.

Or a skin that does that just works as well.

Skins do not change how the hero works.

And hopefully will never be implemented as such, buying skins for power is the worst kind of Pay to Win.

Ugh though, the next hero is gonna be a warrior with some sort of shield mechanic, but they won't answer who it is (though likely crusader)

It's Fenix from Starcraft, a Protoss Warrior.

HotS perfectly fits for us two. We go in, play 3 games to get the Daily Gold, and then leave again. For people with a small time budget, the game's just awesome.

Currently spent 120ish$ together.

...I bought 1 hero.

Would be nice, SC still needs a warrior, but the hint they had given was that they would get a shield after taking a large number of damage. Though as it is I kinda want more supports, our last SC was Zagara, our last Support was Reh'Gar.

Well, Protoss are well-known for having shields on everything. Very close to even their shields having shields.

I, for once, don't need another hero. I got my Lost Vikings and absolutely love them. My micro is downright terrible but they're so much fun.

Immortals with their redone Hardened Shields pretty much count for double shields.

There's just so many characters I want in game, I want Gul'dan, I want Lothar, I want Cho'gall, Mengsk, Necromancer, Baal, and further on that I could go on all day with.

I want Mengsk solely for the banter if he and Raynor / Kerrigan end up on the same team...ESPECIALLY Kerrigan!

In general, this short banter between some hero combinations is another sign of the excellence and perfection Blizzard represents. So many little details.

...but goddamn, nerf Illidan's tankiness already.

I find that stunning Illidan and dogpiling him is the best method for success, problem is when you don't exactly have a stun...

If you have Uther though, it's like raising the middle finger at him, big burst heals screw with his sustain damage, constant stun to keep him down,

Problem is that this applies to pretty much every hero...hex / stun and focus. Compared to other assassins, however, he's so beefy that's ridiculous.

It's mostly due to talents, he's got less base health then thrall for example and less growth, but combine that with evasion/shield/ stone shield/ first aid/sixth sense/metamorph..

He get's pretty tanky yeah, the thing is if he's killed before he pops all that, he's pretty much one and done, which is yeah.

However considering that before a few upgrades and he was middling at best, it's kinda hard to balance all that. However I believe he shouldn't get the shield, or at least it shouldn't work on his metamorph bonus health.

Would be interesting to see a hero that is immune to status effects naturally. But is more suspetiable to AOEs

Too strong. He could easily force his opponents to use their AoEs on him and thus redirects damage from his teammates to his teams, making a huge difference in teamfights.

So what about a hero that has natural cut down the affecting stuns or such by half?

Tidehunter (DotA 2)

Automatically removes CC every few seconds.

A return of Necro and some of the other D2 heroes would be nice, but I wouldnt get those hopes up. Diablo seems to mean Diablo 3 only so far.

Also, the lack of detection in this game is a major flaw. Let's say you're Zeratul. You can sneak up to someone while invisible, even under their tower, watch your teammate go for the kill, then freeze your teammate, killsteal and hold a lecture about how skilled you are. Riki + Faceless Void - Detection = Profit.

Confused. That's what I said...isn't it?

DotA 2 and DotA 1 heroes are the same concept-wise if that's what ya mean.

It is early on, however thy have mentioned Necromancer in an actual interview and it's still early on rather and they likely can get a concept down easier for Diablo 3 heroes. I mean so far it's pretty much Warcraft Heroes of the storm but that doesn't bother me whether things I want come down the line or otherwise.

Let me know when Duriel, Andariel and Mephisto get released. Baal too I suppose.

Andariel would be pretty interesting actually. No DoT-based character so far.

Starcraft: Nova, Raynor, Tychus, Zeratul, Tassadar, Sgt. Hammer, Abathur, Zagara, Kerrigan (9)

Diablo: Diablo, Tyrael, Valla, Azmodan, Stitches, Nazeebo, Sonya (7)

Warcraft: Sylvanas, Thrall, Jaina, Nerub, Chen, Rehgar, Murkey, Brightwing, Lili, Arthas, ETC, Muradin, Falstad, Illidan, Uther, Malfurion, Tyrande, Gazlowe (18)

Plus melon-fething THE LOST VIKINGS Y'ALL.

Seems like a very fair share to me, given that Warcraft fuels both from Warcraft RTS and World of Warcraft.

I do not believe you .
I tried them once in the test mode, they were SO FREAKING DAMN HARD to use, though.

[edit]But this game has Tank Girl. It only needs Kangaroo to be perfect!
