It seems like elder will raise soon!
They got the awesome jetbike which can move across half of the map in a single round, and it can get 4 s6 shoots by only 10pts...
And the elder will gain lots of D weapon....we all kown whats that means,,,,
But the sky is a deadly weakness of elder, and that's when tau can do its part! As the best antiair race of this game, tau can easily shoot down any plane which dare against the greater good...and its allies'
army.
So i believe that this idea will create a wonderful army which can deal with any situation.
What do you think guys?

Uh... Eldar have one of the most killy aircraft around (Crimson Hunter). Ok, Crimson Hunter is more like Crimson Paper, but if you bring more than one (as the little formation in Warhost seems to allow), they do their job. So, I don't think Tau AA is necessary.
On the other hand, jetbikes will be (already are, but still) awesomesauce for Tau. They'll pack firepower, mobility and defense (now that warlocks can be bought within the squad, instead of requiring Eldar to be primary detachment) in levels Fire Warriors could only dream of.
And I'm not even writing about S: D shenanigans to retire Melta from our Crisis.

Well, though i haven't use crimson hunter for one time...i know it has some advantages on against.aircraft, but you know...plane is quite unstable,if you can't make sure it can enter the battle later than other plane...its paper armour will...you know...
And the hunter is not good on killing man and tanks,so if your friend haven't put any plane in his list, the hunter will be useless....but if you put some skyray,it can provide both fire support and anti air missile, most important is skyray is cheap.
On the other hand,i once talk to my friend that if gw design the crisis better,i will fill my army list with it...but now...i think it looks like children's toy.... Yes, I think you are right. The question is though, which Eldar? Saim Hann perhaps but not Biel Tan. I could imagine Biel Tan having a non-aggression pact with the Tau but they would surely demand non-expansion, to which the Tau would not agree. Just a thought.

Indeed - if your meta doesn't bring more than 1 flyer per game, then Crinsom Hunters aren't the best option. Sky Rays are good.

Dunno. Eldar jetbikes used to be US$15 per model; now are US$13.66.

Yeah but this is GW, you can't expect that to continue
I mean, the crisis suits got a slight price decrease (of a whole £0.50 per suit!) when they shifted them to 3 to a box. Has GW ever lowered the price of a unit twice in a row?

I'm thinking 40 St 6 shots with the potential for rerolls from a friendly psyker for a mere 270 points would provide enough AA for 3 armies, let alone one.

I think ....well...Anything on the ground is a better target than a plane for them, unless their is nothing left on the ground, and i believed that S6 is a little bit low on shooting vehicle.so it might be a little unworthy=.=

It's actually not. Case in point being Flyrants getting to side/rear armour.
Granted, you're not as mobile as them but you are still fast.
I've shot my TL Dakkafex at a Stormtalon once. 6's to hit, 5's to wound. Did the trick nicely.
Jetbikes will be fine. Av 12 or higher can be dealt with HYMP and Rail rifles and rumoured Eldar D-weapons.

"wonderful army which can deal with any situation"
anti-horde/melee (Str D flamer), anti-air (skyray), anti-tank/superheavies (Str D shooting from WK), anti-anything in cover (broadsides with buffmander, markerlights), and take everything with a toughness value with scatter lazzzers, all in a list under 1850.
It would be wonderful for you sir, indeed.
the Taudar 2.0 in 7th can (assuming all the leaks are legit) easily be more broken compared to what it was, now with sheer number of ranged attacks you dont even need all the psychic buff.
profit?

It's probably just autocorrect.. but you should change the title to Eldar. Otherwise, we're just talking about the Tau geriatric squad

It's no more broken than cherry picking IoM units across their codices.

Allies chart suck in general. The whole IOM should be separated into Space Marines, Imperial Armies, Mechanicus (including Knights) and Inquisition (including Grey Knights). At least one of those factions should be Battle Brothers with Eldar and another with Tau.

There's no reason to exist BB(F) between Imperium and Eldar. Eldar is known to betray the Imperium almost every time they join forces. AoC is already pushing into their relationship.
Neither makes sense for Tau to be BB with the Imperium as well. 2 Sphere expansions don't give anyone BB.
