Hi all,

So after a game against a Chaos army in which my Standard Bearer from a Command Squad managed to kill a Chaos Champion, I was wondering if and how any of you space marine players give any of your marines honours after similar epic moments? For example, do you give extra purity seals to marines which remind you of such moments? Or do you give them a sort of kill count in their armour or banners or on the side of vehicles?

Look forward to any feedback,
Doge

For truly epic stuff it usually warrants something like a purity seal or iron cross. and such.

To make life easy though id say just mark it on there base. and give him a name.

I normally honour them by giving them a name, known personally by the commander is a great honour!

That's actually quite a good idea, naming them. It gives them more of a personality I guess.

I agree, it feels rewarding, and it is cool fluff wise

I keep purity seals separate after modelling and issue them if a truly heroic display has been shown. It's just annoying when kits come with molded on purity seals...
