Would really like bigger mats. 3x3 atleast. I don't know many 2x2 mat games besides deadzone.

Way too much stuff on this KS that I want my grubby mitts on and just can't decide. Throwing in on just the Shantytown for the moment and then will probably have an aneurysm sorting out in the PM.

Very tempted but wanted to see what the stuff was like - went on their website and pretty much everything was out of stock.
What's been people's experience with the quality etc?

It takes a while to setup and build. The edges need work to get it to look like the demo stuff. Otherwise, it's white or grey. It's cardboard, so it will fray or if it gets wet crinkle. They do say you can treat the edges with glue but that's hundreds of pieces with lots of intricate edges. If you've got time (and glue) for all of that, it's fine. A lot of the furniture has little tabs sticking out which can be annoying. Some of the parts either don't exactly line up or they are super snug with the tooling and pushing them together can result in the cardboard becoming bent/soft/puffy/etc.
The print detail is nice though and once you get the wall sections built it "can" be easier if you are able to store 100 or so wall sections assembled plus the clips. If you've got room for resin scenery, you'll likely have room for this since it can go into a plastic tub.
I own the original sci-fi kit. If it tells you anything I do wish I could afford another set (more the dungeon one than this but this is tempting). The negatives I mentioned are fine (mostly) if you're careful. The visual things I mentioned don't stand out as much if you're not mixing and matching your terrain. As soon as you combine BS card scenery with resin stuff though, it loses a lot of the illusion.
Hope that was helpful.

Apologies if this has already been asked/answered but do we know if we can throw in a £1 now and get access to the post-campaign Pledge Manager where we can add in lots more?
I'd love to get a lot of this stuff, but can't afford it now.
Which is sad, as realistically this would be the easiest (dare I say "only"?!?) way I'd be able to build a big enough table for a game of Pulp City...

I evaluated these really hard, but I had to ask 3 times in 3 different Facebook posts if they were "card stock" or "styrene card", since they looked very durable. Turns out it was card stock, and that won't fly in Kentucky because of the humidity. I've had HATS warp, and print-and-play stuff has to be laminated or it ends up looking like a battle-worn rainbow.
I really wanted in on this, but unless it's a more moisture-resistant material, I'd just be spending money on something that would be KIA 8 months down the road.

Did you back the urban one? This stuff is pricey as it is, then add on shipping and those Canadian CBSA import charges and i guess you're easily paying for 2 sets when you only receive one, eh? Is it worth it? I've tagged along on all 3 previos campaigns and decided it wasnt worth it in the end.

Yes, I got in on the first Scifi, and apocalypse.
I like what I got.
Yes CBSA can be a surprise when I was not expecting such a Byzantine tax.
