I'm starting a new harlequin troupe and aim to paint their cloaks in a deep midnight blue. Any suggestions on paint choice? Preferably GW paints, those are available at my FLGS.

Can't give you GW, I'm afraid, but Night Blue or Imperial Blue from the Vallejo Game Colour line might do the trick.

The middle of this power weapon is Night Blue, with the first outward layer being Imperial Blue:

Same, and if you need to get it even darker add some black to it. But kantor by itself is pretty dark. Enchanted Blue (old name) looks great for doing the highlights on it, sorry not sure of the new name.

That dark blue is awesome, might just look into the Vallejo line and order it online instead.

I've checked out GW's Kandor blue, in its pot it looks too light to my needs. Does anyone have something painted in it?

(Enchanted blue would be Caledo Sky in the new range, I think.)

Has anyone tried Naggaroth Night and glazed it with Guilliman blue, or shaded it with Drakenhof Nightshade?

Kantor blue is dark. I think pretty much every night lord painter uses it

yeah mate i use kantor blue highlighted with increasing amounts of then up to pure teclis blue. thanks buddy
