Is there any rule saying you have to disembark from a Drop Pod the turn it arrives? I know the Lucian one from FW says you can assault out of it by remaining inside it for a turn, but I assume this rule only applies to the Lucian version and not normal Drop Pods.

It's under the Transport section of the Drop Pod rules (page 42 of the DA codex, but wording is the same in C:SM):

Once the Drop Pod has landed, the hatches are blown and all passengers must immediately disembark.

The old BT codex had misprinted FAQs and you actually COULD stay in them.

Chaos Dreadclaws and kharybdis pods allow you to stay inside.

Legion drop pods in heresy lists also allow you to stay inside

And lucius pods... although they may be the same thing as legion pods - I don't know.

yes you do. It says in the rules for the "drop pod assault" rule I believe.
