Hello! Was just wondering if any of you csm players have some lists at 1500 you can share. I've made a nice competitive list for 1850 but have been struggling transitioning it to 1500. I'm having a tough time writing up a 1500 point list for csm.
I have most models for csm (including some forgeworld). I dont mind if you people don't have actual chaos space marines in your suggested lists, as I mostly dont use them either. I really just need some list ideas to get me brain storming, so I assume you'll give me some nice competitive list to work with. Again in it for the competitiveness as i'm not playing some narrative.
Much appreciated and if you do reply I really appreciate the time taken to help a fellow CSM player out!

Also not how Allied Detachments work. One, they don't get a LOW slot and two, they're still Faction CSM so can't be with a primary of CSM. Allied (not a proper noun) with does not equal Allied Detachement (proper noun). Also not how Legacies of Glory work for that matter.

The noise marines are Elites. His Plauge Marines are Troops.

After seeing the list again, isn't it cheaper to take that plasma gun fortification thing for 270(I think its 270) points for a massive blast instead of typhons massive blast?? Cool list but don't you think putting a power maul is a waste of points for a lord? Why not a blackmace as not everyone in the CSM codex can take them like how champions can just take power mauls if they wanted. Plus blackmace is badass

Objective Secured isn't as much of a thing anymore and entire factions skip it now because of other Detachments, and with the exception of Eldar Jetbikes, most things that are likely to have it do not have the durability to withstand Sonic Blasters and a Blastmaster. It's a static position at midfield, not like Plagues that take Objectives and just take every punch to the face without flinching. And if there is something that has ObjSec AND can be a threat, that's what the rest of the lost is for and use some target priority to deal with it in a timely manner.
I didn't include the mace only because I don't like the points cost. I'm still a Tyranid player at heart and don't like spending points on upgrades as expensive as artifacts.

because the typhon blast ignores cover.
and the bastion is to cheap protection for cultists and sorc n help anti air.
