Why return to Kickstarter? We have all of the digital models shown ready to go into production, but digital printing, molding and mastering, and casting runs are expensive. It would take longer for us to raise the funds to put these models into production over time than if we ask for funds to make a collection of them at one time. We want to get these models to the players as soon as possible, and Kickstarter can make that possible.

These are absolutely charming minis, and I have to thank Cyporiean and one of your concept artists to turning me on to them!!

I've been browsing the website and have some Qs:

1. Do you have a list of the babes minis that also have Counterblast profiles?

2. Are we able to order the Alt Maelee from the "deluxe" set as a single miniature?

3. How many models beyond the starters do you recommend for a "full" game?

We plan on launching BABES II in the fall. Right now I am compiling concepts and sculpting some of the initial figures. We will be offering our some of our existing items as Add-on selections to that project. I’m pretty sure Tammy will be included.

Tammy will be available as a regular release once the campaign is concluded. You get a free one included with the Bomb Kit bundle as part of the project incentive.

It wound up costing us the same amount we raised on the project for those backers to cover the additional expense of having West Wind fulfill the previous project. So every European backer that pledged $100 cost us $100 to fulfill. From a business standpoint you can probably guess why we cannot offer that on this project. However. ALL of the models funded on this project will be available through West Wind once we complete fulfillment here. You will still be able to get everything offered at retail.

Right now none of the Babes have official Counterblast profiles, but you could proxy pretty much any of them for characters you’d like in your crews. We are currently working on a Mission Directive supplement that will have official character cards for some of the Babes and it will include a Hero Builder rule set so you can make your own Counterblast heroes. The Beta 0.3 test PDF is available here.

The “Alt” Maelee was an exclusive model available to our backers only on the initial Babes kickstarter project. We do not have that model for sale.

Counterblast can be played with one model. Most games are between 200 - 400 points and will consist of 4 - 6 models. It is skewed towards character skirmish combat similar to WWX and Pulp City. You can expand your games for full squad combat using the Teamwork rules and play larger scale combats as you like.
