Ritchie Blackmore and his wife always have a song or two to inspire me. I have alternaive Ashlyn on my hands from the release date, but it took some time to find an idea that suits her good.
Here are some info for those of you, who did not have a time to read Warmachine fluff: Llael’s primary geographical advantage turned out to be its greatest weakness: sharing its borders with four kingdoms with few natural barriers to inhibit trade—or the movement of armies. This served to line the pockets of certain entrepreneurial nobles and merchants who exploited the shipping along the Black River flowing from Rhul to the Gulf of Cygnar. Llael’s merchants were centrally located to serve as middlemen for a variety of lucrative mercantile organizations, while its gentle valleys and lush farmlands offered few barriers to slow the advance of the soldiers who marched to seize them starting at the end of 604 AR. By the end of 605 AR Llael had become an occupied nation. In other words, Llael was mainly a purpose of a bitter war between mighty Khador Empire (red) and Cygnar Kingdom (blue). The diorama depicts the bitter street fights in Llael capital, with Ashlyn D`Elyse rallying her people and an allied Cygnar troops for a last desperate charge.

Bring to me all of my arrows
Bring to me my crossbow too
I fear we might need them both
Before the night is through

Once a world of glittering hope
This world is not the world we knew
The only light left to shine
Is between me and you

On our own
In a World of Stone
We are not alone

I had once believed in angels
They were everywhere I looked
A gentle hand guiding me
To give more than I took

But I have died a thousand times
Watching all these angels fall
Their lonely eyes haunt me still
We will avenge them all

Bring me mead and bring me ale
To help us face this fight again
Good fortune will shine down on us
Together we will win

And they will never break our spirit
We will never turn and run
And we will rise stronger still
When we stand as one!

The scenery is mainly done from scratch, with some `dead bodies`miniatures used. Ashlyn herself is an Infinity-sized 28 mm.
This is a first work of mine i need a THREE sets of pictures to show. You can look at them here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/379177 (battlefield) http://www.coolminiornot.com/379196 (Ashlyn)

omg! Thats amazing. I love the face, and the inside of the cloak, the banner is also great. The scenic base really makes the paintjob.

Magnificent.

How to paint Skeletons the way I do if that's something you'd fancy trying.

OH. MY. GOD. That is so epic! I love that Ashlyn sculpt, but I've never seen it done justice the way you have! The whole build is fantastic, the paint job is wonderful, the details you've painted into the cloth are insane!

I'm impressed by how you've made the armour look shinier by painting subtle reflections into it; while perhaps you wouldn't expect her armour to be shiny and clean in such a situation, it actually works very well in the context of the piece.

Kudos. This is Golden Demon worthy painting and modelling! Outstanding piece.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Stunning! I'm not normally a fan of Warmachine stuff aesthetically, but this goes beyond minis and becomes art, and is superb!

Thanks for all that comments! Actually, i think that PP have the some of best female models in its scale, so hope i will be back someday with alternate Kaelyssa and those limited Wilder and Manowar lasses.

Simply breathtaking. It is beautiful both in composition and execution. The young girl, the man hiding and covering his ears, and the dead (with almost the appearance of being asleep) lady show a very human side to the conflict

I agree; until the last few years at least most other company's female figures that I've seen have either been rather ugly miniatures ("heroic" scale's exaggerated proportions don't work so well for female figures) or, well, let's just say "not sensibly attired". There are certainly exceptions, and I think the situation is getting better these days too as overall miniature quality seems to be on the rise.

That banner is ridiculous, really fantastic work on this. Well done.
