Dark Angels vs Blood Angels, 1500 points. Got fairly wrecked by them. I was running a ton of librarians with our conclave formation, as well as 2 squads of termies, a RW command squad, and tac marines.
It would have been a close game if we based it purely on combat strategies, but I made a dozen or more terrible rolls throughout the game. 2 of my RW bikes died to gets hot. The rest failed horribly against a predator, then got locked in combat with 10 tacs and failed every attempt at breaking away, killed at least 2 a turn and lost no one but never finished the combat.
My DW knights lost 2 to fire from a 10 man assault squad, then lost another 2 to overwatch from them. So the knight master and my termie librarian make it in, wipe the squad and kill his librarian warlord, but died immediately to predator fire.
My other terminators rolled terribly against a dreadnought, got wiped and only took one HP off, luckily Ezekiel hit it with psychic maelstrom and immobilized it before it charged his squad.
In the end I think I lost 3-5 or something like that. I think I managed to kill off 2 of his units to him killing 5 of mine.

Sadly, my last game was over a month ago, but at least it was a good one. 1500 points, Slaanesh Daemons vs Khorne Daemonkin. An absolute knock-down, drag-out fight, with hatred playing a huge part. I eventually won the game thanks to my two 20-strong blobs of daemonettes, and a suprisingly resilient Keeper of Secrets who took down a Khorne DP and newly summoned (but hurting) Bloodthirster. My opponent, still awash in the shiny glow of a new codex, horded his blood tithe points to summon a free BT, only to find that all of his mortal characters were dead by his turn 3, so he couldn't use them to summon the big beastie.

My last game was 1850 points with my eldar list against a tau list, practicing for a tournament.
I took a combined arms /TK*E /TAFPment. My HQ was a warlock with a singing spear. I had 3 minimum sized squads of scatter bikes, Binky the melee-specced wraithknight (with one scatter laser), two fire prisms with shuriken cannons and holo fields, three vypers with shuriken cannons and eldar missile launchers, a crimson hunter, a full size squad of warp spiders with exarch, and a seer council formation with two farseers and three warlocks, all equipped with singing spears.
My opponent had an Imperial Knight (forge world version, the one with the doom-flamer, custom built as an amazing giant kroot monster), two riptides, a firebase with two great big twin-linked skyfire anti-tank turrets on top, a squad of pathfinders inside said firebase, a tau transport with a full unit of fire warriors inside, a unit of outflanking kroot, and a deep striking doom squad of suits capable of destroying basically any one target the turn it comes in which ignored cover and fired an absurd number of meltaguns.
We did Emperor's Will with modified maelstrom.
My warlord trait let me give scout to d3 units. Rolled a 5, so 3 units. Gave it to warp spiders, vypers, and my seer council. Scout move positioned warp spiders 6" forward, vypers in position to hit his knight, and seer council in a good position.
I went first. Turn one I did an alpha-strike on his knight, doomed it, guided my warp spiders, plinked away 3 hull points with my fire prisms and vypers, and then killed it dead with my warp spiders (teleported 17 inches, ran, got into side arc, glanced it 8 times).
it went down hill for my opponent after that. I lost basically nothing on his turn one except for a single warp spider because I positioned my army to avoid his return fire. Turn two, my crimson hunter came in and took interceptor fire which destroyed its pulse laser. I killed one of his riptides, glanced his transport down to one wound, and had Binky charge into my opponent's firebase fortification thing and smash it to bits. Two pathfinders were killed in the collapse and they failed their morale check and ran off the board.
My opponent's turn two, he brought in his command team and between them and the rest of his army, he managed to just barely kill my seer council (which had a 2+ armor save plus fortune). His kroot also came in and killed a squad of my scatterbike that were on an objective, denying me both maelstrom points that turn.
Turn three, I killed his second riptide, his transport, and most of his command squad and my warp spiders with help from a scatter bike squad killed his kroot. On his turn, my fire prism chose not to jink and was charged by his command squad. Command squad stunned the fire prism. Vypers were forced to jink.
Turn four, I took the primary objectives with scatterbikes and tabled him, killing his fire warriors and the rest of his command squad.
Not sure how the game would have gone if my opponent had gone first. Presumably it would have been more difficult for me.

He's new ish to 40k/Strategy games. Only bad dice rolls could turn this in his favor. I'm finishing it tomorrow.

I had to murdalate about 3 bricks of dice before finding one that didn't insist on rolling one's and two's If it makes you feel any better.

Take one, smash it and make the other dice watch. They'll get the message.

2000pts of Chaos vs 2000pts of Ultramarines and Blood Angels, but none of the lists were optimized for anything. Just a casual game that gathered my Chaos and a friend's for my army vs two 1000pt lists with minor tweaks to make them work better together.
It was a slaughter with good model placement on my end, bad on his, good dice for me, bad for his. A good Deep Strike with Chaos Terminators and a Lord with the Burning Brand murdered the entire back half of a Death Company Squad of 9. The half that had a Thunder Hammer, two Fists and two Power Swords. The Stormtalons was cornered by 30 Cultists spread out over nearly a quarter of the table around two Obliterators.
The nail in the coffin was my opponent pulling off a Warp Charge 3 Telekenetic power with only 3 dice thrown at it. So that's a S10 AP1 Large Blast aimed for my Terminators still in that little circle of Deep Strike arrival. Scatters five inches TOWARDS the caster. Misses the Terminators completely, hits and kills two models in the Librarian's unit.
It was just an unpleasant game though. Ended early because the guy's attitude made the game just friggin miserable.

1500 points. My Eldar and Grey Knights take on the Tau. I lost 2 Dreadknights, the Librarian (died to Deepstrike mishap), a Wave Serpent (killed by EMP grenade from a lone Pathfinder) and one squad of Dire Avengers. He got almost tabled and had to concede.
Result was 7-2 (me having 2 Objectives and Linebreakers, my opponent First Blood and Slay the Warlord).
MVP: Terminators and Dark Reapers.
WTF: Librarian. I swear to God, this guy is pissing me off. Every game he either mishaps or fails to hit with his Combi-melta or dying to Perils.

Just played a 1500pt League game against Skitarii with an allied Knight. Primary objective was "reverse killpoints" (each unit with 50% or more remaining wounds/HP's, rounded down, grants 1 VP at the end of the game).
Was running mechanized IG, an HQ command squad in a chimera, one chimelta vet unit, a mechanized platoon, three LR Exterminators, and six Lascannon Sentinels facing four Skitarii infantry units (one Ranger, three Vanguard), two AA kitted Dunecrawlers, a unit of Sicaran Infiltrators, and a Knight.
I deployed and went first, opponent deployed on a refused flank with everything on one side. Game basically was was my entire army circling to my left, away from his advancing infantry and rolling up his right flank. The Skitarii infantry killed the couple units they got within range of rather quickly, but spent most of the game outside of range of anything (their lack of a dedicated transport really hurts), and the Knight went down turn 4 without getting into combat with anything but having battlecannon'd a couple sentinels off the board. Ultimately ended up being somewhat one-sided, starting the game with almost double the number of units available to keep alive to score with at the end, and with most of the Skitarii just not being able to get to grips and lots of autocannon/lascannon/heavy bolter fire from across the board. The Dunecrawlers died turn 1 without getting to do anything, but being AA kitted against a tank-heavy army may not have made much difference anyway, though the S10 anti-tank kit would have been quite scary.

Never rely on Meltas, as they'll miss or fail to wound, most of the time.
My last Libby died in his suit, after he Quickened, and it didn't.

Wait, how does that work? Wouldn't you just want to never fire at your opponent, make sure you keep at least one unit alive so you're not tabled? I'm thinking about just shaming my dice by putting them back in their box and putting them on the counter at work with a sign that says "We never let our owner make his 3+ saves."

My last game was my grotesquerie formation with regular dark eldar and regular eldar against orks and necrons that were summoning daemons. I won by a land slide, but my favorite part came from earning first blood before my first turn... a weird boy suffered a 1 on the perils chart trying to summon pink horrors and failed his leadership check... lol.
He failed to kill the two bike squads and raider with grotesques in his first two turns, so my large grot bomb, wraithknight, and micellaneous raiders/ venoms with warriors deep struck all over the place.
Wraithknight held up a large boy squad with the str 10 big mek hq (forgot the name) for 4 rounds of combat.... I eventually lost my wraithknight but not until I stomped all but one boy out of existence.
The third crowning moment came when my Shard of Anaris toting Autarch landed two instant death rends versus his overlord in a challenge.
I won 22 points to 11.
