The current dreads cost too much and only carry 2-3 weapons.
So i suggest this dread at standard cost.
And opt to replace the heavy flamers with assault cannon or auto cannons or tl lascannons or plasma cannons.

You need to build a devolving renegade Marine army around that.

(As AAA quick guesstimate, I'd points out each weapon, then add that to a Rifleman Dread, after discounting the ACs. But holy wow!)

I'm pretty sure it can still only fire 2 weapon systems per turn.
And it has (essentially) 3 systems that fire as one weapon each.
System 1- 2 twin linked auto cannons
System 2- twin-linked flamestorm cannon
System 3-twin-linked heavy flamer.
Make it venerable and 150pts.
Sounds good to me

Apologies to Doom, I meant that light heartedly. Too many people think they know everything when they dont.
Dreads need to take advantage of this walker rule and carry more guns and shoot more guns. Also Defiler of the CSM needs an option to replace battle cannon for a non ordinance weapon such as Quad heavy bolter, hades autocannon, rapier laser battery, conversion beamer, etc.

Why should i leave Blaxicanx, There are people more rude than I and simply not nice and deserves a boot.

While I won't open up the can of worms that happened between you and I a while ago, I will say this: Your proposed rules have very little weight.
You have nothing but an idea: No thought into it, no draft rules, no points values, no stats, nothing. You posted a photo of a model and stated "All Dreadnoughts should have this, anyone who disagrees with me has no idea what they're talking about!".
You would get a better reaction if you put some time into your posts before you ask for feedback. Put some stats together, some points, anything more that what you have is a plus.
Onto the actual debate, I think it's a bad idea. The weapon variety on a Dreadnought is not it's main weakness. Consider the number of Dreadnought varients we already have:
- Standard
- Ironclad
- Mortis
- Siege
- Contemptor
- Contemptor Relic
- Contemptor Mortis
- Deredeo
The main problem with Dreadnoughts is their fragility compared to other units: They can't last against AT-firepower than other armoured units, especially if they're trying to get into combat. If you want to improve Dreadnoughts, start with fixing their survivability before to begin to think about firepower.

You took that,"every body doesn't know what they talk bout" way out of context. 1st I said, "Too many people" and 2nd that it was only about the walker rule DoomShakaLaka did not know about. 3rd he tried to argue it would not work because he thought it was like tanks or bikers or infantry shooting.
And about u, are you still mad? If you think I am rude what about whisky? he flat out tells people they are dumb and to gtfo. I took the extra 2 min to spell correct everything my fat thumbs button mash just 4 u.
Every time i write stats, some guy tells me i cant min max for lower unit cost or whatever.
For the survivability of dreds? How about we fix it by arbitrarily reducing cost and making them into squadrons so you have more saturation and not solve the durability problems. Or we give them some overpowered jink save or a typoied hp of 30 hull points. That is keeping in line with the spirit of GW rules writing. typo every where that makes stuff op and never errata it because it would hurt sales.
btw what is this dred? it looks legit with rules already written because its ultra smurf so its not 30k.

The Dread in question is the Deredeo: New HH Dreadnought with experimental rules on the FW site. Good rules but it's very expensive points-wise.

also 30hp will not stop a melta or lascannon from out right exploding. But seriously we need to lower their cost.

I know nothing about either yours or Doom's post history, but simply matching his attitude with similar remarks isn't helping anyone, and is more likely to get Mods involved than fix anything.
Reducing the price is a good start, much better idea than slapping on as many weapons as possible.

AV 13 with four assault cannons sounds about right judging by the Eldar codex. Price: 130 pts. Note that four WindRiders still are cheaper, have obj sec, and have more firepower.

Above is exactly what I said. I had NO malicious intent whatsoever.
I was just trying to give it a suggestion on how to price it with all those weapons.
Also I was confused, and thought that you could only fire two weapons on walkers like MC.
BTW, now that I think about it, I probably underpriced it. I can't see this thing for less than 170 honestly.

The dred with 3 weapon pair systems would fly off the shelf if it was 100pts or less. I would like it to be 130pts and I think it arbitrarily reasonable. Realistically it would be 170-200pts which is just not worth it.
now how do i convince someone dreds of this caliber be 100pts?
