If I were to decide to get more Flesh Hounds for my KhorneKin (which I will have to eventually do since apparently the Gorepack is the way to go with that codex), could I use the Chaos Warhound models from WFB instead of the actual 40k flesh hounds? I really hope so, since the models actually would fit better with the flesh hounds I already have (some of the old metal ones that I got cheap on ebay), and they cost half as much for twice as many . All I would then have to do would be to get appropriate round bases. Would these need to be the 50mm ones like the 40k flesh hounds come with, or could I use 40mm ones instead (which my metal ones already have)?

Edit: Never mind, my question has already been answered in the 40k general discussion forum. Sounds like I have a green light on this whenever I decide to use more Khornedogs!

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

I recently made a post regarding flesh hound alternatives. I think the best alternative that will fit the khorne deamonkin codex would be the dire wolves from whf vampire counts. They are dirt cheap and you get 10 n a box, not to mention the look of them are absolutely terrifying. Hope this helps.

Cheers.

So 5 of these for $50

Or 20 of these for $50

For me it's no competition. Not only do I prefer the look of the Dire Wolves you get 4 times as many of them for the same price.

Thanks Redflex ! I was abstaining from using flesh hounds in my armies, but those Dire Wolves have changed my mind.

Hey,

Glad I could help. Don't you just love the look of those wolves.

Cheers.

My flesh hounds are the old Mordheim hounds, except for one which is the hound ridden by some WFB hero (can't remember his name), which is an absolutely massive hound. People say the big one is the mother and the others are her pups.
