so I've been searching the forum index and haven't been able to find any threads relating to league of legends which made me think that it would be good to get a group of players together.
I intend for the group to be made up of players of mixed skill level but if anyone wants to form a dakka ranked team feel free.
If anyone is interested just post your username and your server region so others can find you, and we'll see where it goes from there depending on how many are interested. Teamspeak, skype etc are purely optional as not everyone (including myself) want to use them.
Just send those who you want to add a PM so they know.
I have added preferred roles to those who have been active as part of the group, just PM me if you want me to add or change them.

I hate the changes to Aegis and Locket. Nerfed their auras to hell and replaced them with self health regen, not much of a point of taking them any more... if you want health regen there's far better things to take. And even the active was nerfed to hell, its duration cut by 60%...

aaaw not locket, (I haven't read the latest patch notes properly) that was always a must take for me when I play braum or soraka.

Aegis of the Legion:
TOTAL COST: From 1900 gold ⇒ 1600 gold
NEW BUILD PATH: Null-Magic Mantle + Crystalline Bracer + 550 gold
BASE HEALTH REGEN: From 0% ⇒ 100%
MAGIC RESIST AURA: From 20 to all nearby units ⇒ 15 to all nearby units

Bold part is the huge nerf here. You trade your health regen aura and 5 points of magres from your magres aura for self-regen and less cost. Basically making it useless because there's far better items to get both magres and health regen from.

TOTAL COST: From 2800 gold ⇒ 2750 gold
BASE HEALTH REGEN: From 0% ⇒ 100%
MAGIC RESIST AURA: From 20 to all nearby units ⇒ 15 to all nearby units
HEALTH REGEN AURA: From 75% health regen to all nearby units ⇒ 0
SHIELD AMOUNT: From 60~230 (50 + 10 per champion level) ⇒ 90~345 (75 + 15 per champion level)
SHIELD DURATION: From 5 seconds ⇒ 2 seconds

So 50 gp cheaper, in exchange for losing the best part of its aura, three seconds off of its five second shield buff, and gaining a little bit of self-health regen and a tiny buff to its shield amount which really won't matter when the enemy's veigar deletes your mage anyway, making its use as an oh gak button questionable to begin with.

jeez, like you say that really isn't worth taking any more that 3 sec nerf to the shield is ridiculous. especially with that piffling price reduction.
