I just start take in Poison weapon for first time I've use since 2nd edition!

I can't work out how prefer enemy and poisoned re-roll..

In my head I think it is -

Shoot one

Roll to hit- fail = re-roll to hit for prefer enemy... Hit?

Hit - roll to wound.... Score 2 - poison (2+) re-roll poisoning to wound... Fail to wound

Re-roll for prefer enemy - score 2 - poison (2+) re-roll poisoning to wound. Success or fail to wound result.

And other shot -

This sound right to me and oh my... 5 time re-rollable... Until that rule for re-roll is not allow to re-roll more than once?

I believe you only get to reroll once. You don't get to reroll rerolls.

It would go:

Roll to hit - reroll 1s for preferred enemy - roll to wound - reroll poison if applicable (preferred enemy does nothing, since the poison reroll is better) - reroll 1s if poison reroll does not apply

This is correct. You may never re-roll a re-roll without explicit permission (and, AFAIK there is none to date)

Check page 11, bottom-left of the page, under re-rolls.

And if attacker are lower strength than enemy toughness then I can use prefer enemy re-roll.

If attacker are higher strength than enemy toughness I'll use poison re-roll instead of prefer enemy because it only happen on roll of 1..

You can't use the poison reroll in shooting anyway.

Only exception I can maybe think of is some tables that require you to roll until you generate a result you don't already have.
