GW thinks the internet is a passing fad and probably has computers that still run Windows 97

Arguably the videos are doing exactly what they intend. They get people talking about them (hence more people go look at them) and they are cheap.

GW does not pay for advertising.

If the people talking about them are laughing and forgetting them without ever becoming interested (or even aware of) the product GW are trying to advertise then no, the videos are NOT working.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

I only watch them if they get linked here on dakka, they are awful and don't build any excitement for myself.
And people at where I play have stopped watching them completely.
In the end the lack of real advertisement or marketing is costing them as people lose interest for longer times.
As far as people I play with are concerned stuff just kinda pops up, if they happen to miss it at release they may not notice at all.

Except the people talk about how bad the videos are, never mind the actual product. And anyone seeing one or two doesn't even have to look at them anymore to know what he'll see (hint: nothing of consequence).
