What is a vs worth nowadays?

Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see us And on that day, you will reap it,
and we will send you to whatever god you wish.

What the market will bear.
Or, what you can get for it.

If you are listing it I'd do a search for previous sales.
A quick search suggests around 200 USD.

200$. Each. They're key to many competitive lists and they were an extremely limited run, they go for a lot as tournaments require the official models.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

So GW really is manufacturing a line of "collectible" miniatures.

Go figure.

Tourney requires official model? Not true, as one of the ork players here on dakka went to a tourney and used a custom made one from a stompa model as his and it was legit and viable. He was allowed to use it. As long as you make the model to the height and size specifications, then anyone refusing to let you use it isn't worth playing against

Some tournaments might require official models. Just because the one you went to doesn't, others might.

Any TO who requires you to have a limited run model that goes for $200 in order to field a legal selection, rather than an alternate model of comparable size and profile, probably isn't someone you want to trust to run an event anyway.
