Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I like/hate those miniatures. No mistaking what they are, and with reasonable adherence to authenticity, yet I cant get beyond seeing a PSC kit and plasticard. I guess conversions dont really work at this scale.

My trouble with conversions for historical is that even without devolving into rivet counter territory the conversion may end up looking unlike the actual machine. So no fair fault there.

Your Stuka zu fuss are visibly very different, having slab sided wurframen which are out of scale, but that is a fault of the materials available to you.

Frankly for work of the painting quality you put in I would have bought metal SZF pieces and added them to the plastic kit. As a commission I would be a little disappointed and would have paid extra to buy the metal bits. But that is me, each to their own I guess.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

This is based of a conversion I did several years back for my own Panzerpioneers (link in the post). At the time, there were no separate SZF bits available to convert the PSC hafltracks. Client was well aware of what the conversion looked like and specifically asked for a similar conversion. I provide clients with multiple updates and WIP pics to keep them apprised of the situation, and they are always able to have me stop or change a piece before completion. All that matters to me is that the client is happy with the work, which he was.

No problem, with any review thread peoples opinions differ. Glad your client was happy.

I wouldn't have been happy, and had I asked for some Sd Kfz's to be made by you I would have asked for metal pieces, and if they were not available would have asked for a different unit instead.

After all, as evidenced by your reply you kept in contact with the client during your work.

Do what i did for my missing ones ,just recast them out of resin. I have had to do that with missing parts. But overall i dont think they are bad for scratch build.Considering psc said many moons ago that they were going to release a engineering trax conversion set.
