" ... only burnt, black, and smoldering earth throughout the entire depth of our attack ..." Rotmistrov at Prokhorovka

Suffice it to say that I can no longer wait for PSC to release a proper starter set.
Spoiler:

German Infantry and two more boxes of T-34s on the way. I'll hopefully have some pics of terrain up by the end of the weekend!

Awesome, are those 15mm or 1/72?

How to paint Skeletons the way I do if that's something you'd fancy trying.

Aye, made the 15mm Germans (black box) the distributor accidentally sent especially easy to spot.

So you're going full-on Kursk. Cool. Should be quite an army.

I'm going to tackle the Italeri low wall next and then do some trees. That should be sufficient until I can figure out some fields.

All those trees you made for 28 should work shouldn't they?

Manchu - would these also work with 28mm? I've seen photos which indicate that Italeri's 1/72 scale plastic buildings work well with 28mm - I'm hoping these do as well. I want some 28mm Russian cottages in plastic, but all I've found so far is the Perry medieval cottage, and even poor Russian peasants probably lived a bit better than that!

The easiest thing is probably to let you judge for yourself. Here's a pic of the larger of the two mid-size buildings with a Gripping Beast Irish doghandler, a Warlord GI sarge, and an Ultramar Defense Auxila guardsman:
