I think the closest thing to an official bit included with the kit would be the rolled up canvas tarps, as shown modeled on Red_Thirst's vehicles. It at least gives some visual distinction to the model.

I don't really see what the problem is.
There's nothing hard about taking one of those mesh bags onions or something comes in, spray painting it a couple colors of browns, greens, tans, etc. then cutting it into good sized pieces to throw over the model during deployment and can be taken off after game.

Perhaps the player hasn't thought of this so maybe they would appreciate a nice "suggestion for next time" or "if you wanted you could..."
