Subject: [BFG] Battlefleet Gothic Battle Report - Chaos vs Imperial Navy 1100pts
Nice report, but were lances correct? I thought you just rolled a dice per point of strength, no firepower table for them.
Sound was also a bit low (and only seemed to come from one side).

Hi and thanks for the feedback, il take a look at the rules for lances. It was our first time playing BFG so im sure we made some mistakes. We are also new to making videos and experimenting with a variety of different methods of setting up lighting and recording the audio.
This was recorded with a lappel mic which cancels out the background noise a great deal, unfortunately this also means hearing other players is hard and i have to manually boost parts when they speak. It is likely we will move to using the camcorders internal mic which is omnidirectional for future reports to better balance the sound.
Lances are die = firepower, causes damage on a 4+ regardless of armour. You also need to total your firepower for a squadrons weapon batteries before checking the gunnery table. This is important for crippled/on orders that reduce your weapon strength, and so you don't gain or lose shots due to rounding.

Cheers,
Just use strength of lances hit on 4+ ignore blast markers!
To be honest, these battle reports are making me chomp at the bit in anticipation of getting some models.

Thanks for the comments, If you would like to see more of our fleets have a looky here around 3:24
I personally cant wait to get some massive fleet fights, i think our problem is going to be the table mat is only 4x4 and the table 8x4, i think black cloth is in order,
