Annihilation Nexus is weak. Also you could drop a ghost ark. Also run the overlord pretty vanilla.

Some better options (in the order of potency):
Destroyer Cult
Judicator Battalion (consider running Zandrekh for your HQ if you go this route)
Another Canoptek Harvest
Flayed Ones (great against horde armies)
Deathmarks (for hitting WKs and DKs)

I agree with Col_impact the Nexus is mediocre. Though not terrible. Just like big units of Wraiths it is something that you could spend better elsewhere. So likewise Harvests work best minimum size but in multiples. Wraiths are fast tarpit with poor damage output so small squads are far more efficient. Trans beamers are men. You have to roll that 6 against something important and hope they fail their save and don't have immunity to ID.

I do disagree on dropping a Ghost ark, they are great. I do agree with col again on going more minimalistic on the Overlords gear. A Command Barge with just a Warscythe is cheap and fairly effective. Or just an unupgraded dude in the Immortals. Personally I always see excess points spent on immortals as wasted. Tomb blades are so much more efficient with Gauss.

The problem I have is I don't want to have to buy new items. I have in spare, 5 more doom/night scythes, nightbringer, 16 flayed ones, ccb, and that's about all I can think of

I did however think of buying another spyder to run two, groups.and the wraiths are modeled with Trans beams and I figured I would have to keep and not use whip could because tournaments have to be wysiwyg

I would run the lord in the ccb, it's not what it used to be but it's still good. Flayed ones can also be pretty damn good, I would recommend trying them out in the list for sure. Take some whip coils with the wraiths, and shave off some points where you can. You could also take the doom scythe formation instead of the nexus if you want to go for a flier heavy list. You could potentially get 5 or 6 fliers in here if you want, although I don't know how powerful it is as I don't play necrons and haven't faced their new codex.

With the flyer formation I can only get 2 dooms. Then I can add only 6 flayed ones. I used 15 before in a game and they didn't really do much sadly. Killed one unit. Not sure. The formation helps if you can get all on the battlefield. Otherwise it's pointless.

You may want to try to get those flayed ones into your list. When I run mine, 90% of the time they make more than their points back. And you have minimal close combat, which the flayed ones will help. Just try to put them against models with bad AP and a mediocre save.

As far as the overlord goes, I like giving mine a Warscythe or Voidreaper, this means he can cut up anything short of a Gargant or Superheavy walker in close combat, especially when padded with a unit. Granted you won't want to charge with him, but he may get charged.

I'm not sure if you are referring to point costs or formation restrictions, but if it's the latter you can take up to four doom scythes.

Oh, I also own the Stormlord, Zandrek, Obyron, and Trazyn, 3 crypteks and other overlords/lords.

In the Reclamation, id give the Overlord a CCB. He's a one man wrecking machine.
Moreover, I'd take a larger TB unit of 6 or 3x3 with particle weapons. They are great vs hordes.
The Nexus is a bit questionable. A second Harvest formation would be better.
