So I recently started with painting miniatures and already it seems I've got quite a talent for it. I've looked through the Ebay sales article on this forum and it had some useful pointers. The question still remains for me what would be a feasible pricetag for this army as the amount of praise I get for this keeps on stacking. If I look towards the average professional painting service they will ask, even for their "level 1" painting service about €500,- on top of the price of the models themselves and without assembly or cleaning fee. On average, for this army, I would AT LEAST have to pay €1000,- and from what I gather, my painting skills certainly surpass the average level 1, but what IS feasible to ask for sales?
At the very least I would ask for about €750,- as this would cover the model, paint, glue and working hours cost. But I also really, REALLY want to purchase an airbrush + compressor set up and I was hoping to buy this from money made out of selling this army, next to having some money left over to re-purchase another army for sale purposes.

I always imagine "level 1" commission painting to be the minimum TTS - three colours and maybe a wash. This FAR exceeds that.
I've never been in the market for already painted models, but these are definitely some high quality paint jobs. I think there was an article on Dakka about selling models... You could check that out.

You did an excellent job of painting these. The grittiness is executed superbly without losing any clarity. I enjoy the painting process (and all of its frustrations), so I wouldn't personally buy them, but I'd definitely be beaming with pride to play with an army painted up to this standard.

The thing to remember is that DoI has a well established business and massive portfolio of past paintings and commissions. People will pay for ensured quality and specific personal choices made in the creation of their army.
I think this stuff looks great, but it also at the end of the day is heavy washes and a lot of blood splatter and weathering. Not exactly clean, professional work. So on the matter of it being worth this or that, I think you'd have to find one hell of a specific buyer to garner that kind of price tag.
Again, great stuff, but dont get caught up in comparing apples to oranges and expect it to translate to monetary values.

Thank you for the advice. In the end though, I simply need one buyer that agrees to this pricing and from what I gather, people love it, so at the very least getting around €1000,- for it seems like a very acceptable price, which will allow me to buy new models and hone my skills. I think regardless of the army type, I'd always keep them bloodied up and weathered because in my book, War is bloody and messy. But its probably a good idea to work a bit more on keeping it a bit cleaner. Things I`ll learn eventually.
To all the others that replied with praise, thank you very much!
I've also updated the pictures with new ones.
Let me know what you think

Looks lovely, but I find the presentation a bit weird. Have you taken a picture of a printed out picture? Wouldn't it be easier and keep the highest quality to just use the first digital image?

It's actually an app that gives me the option to have it look as if it was printed. I thought it just looked like it was covered in some type of magazine; giving perhaps a more professional appearance.
I'm still considering to make even newer pictures, but I'm looking for a cool idea regarding a backdrop. Something that really adds to the flavor of this army.
The best might probably be some badass pictures on an even more badass table filled with awesome scenery.
But, I don't have such a thing close by.
