Hi all

On the space marine infantry transfer sheet there is a black lightening bolt in a white circle, (opposite the Black Templar symbols). Does anyone know what this is for? I was thinking of using it for a homebrew chapter icon but I don't want to if it already means 'fast attack' or something.

Cheers.

It's a campaign badge IIRC.

You could probably use it as a campaign badge as Azrael said. But it would probably work as a chapter symbol as well.

The Hive City of Tempestora was destroyed/overrun during the 3rd War of Armageddon. "The conflict eventually drew in portions of over 25 Space Marine Chapters," Fortunately, not all 25 are listed anywhere that I've seen, so it's more than possible for you to add your home-brewed chapter to that list that participated in the war.

Good luck! Post pictures!

Does it look like the lightning bolt from this picture?

If so, then it's the symbol for Fast Attack.

Oh... Is it this sheet? The ones to the left of the Black Templar crosses are just the Fast Attach Symbol, as Yarium stated. Put those on your dudes driving the Land Speeder, your bikers, and your Assault Marines.

Happy gaming!

If so, then it's the symbol for Fast Attack.

It doubles as the Fast Attack symbol, but that's not why it's on the decal sheet. There is no 'Fast Attack' designation for marine units. They retain their normal Tactical or Assault badges.

As others already pointed out, it's a campaign badge.
