Question is in the title.
When you take a dreadnought as part of a gladius formation can you get a furioso drop pod as a DT for free?

with out codex in hand to verify I will go with no. If I recall correctly the gladious does not give free DTs in general, it specificly gives free rhino, razorback and drop pod DTs. The furioso drop pod and a drop pod are not the same thing.

That is a definite no then. You get drop pods, Lucius pods are a completely separate and distinct entry not even in the same book.

Should be noted also that you only get the free Rhino/Razorback/Drop Pod if you've taken two Battle Demi-companies (one Battle Company).

Ah, yes, that's perhaps more comprehensive - two Battle Demi-companies within the Gladius Strike Force, which would also require at least one Auxilliary

No. For the free Transports within the 2 Demis (together being known as the Battle Company) it is two Demi Companies, EACH with 1 Auxilliary? So 2 Auxilliaries minimum.

Hi,
This seems to be different to what my codex indicates. Could you please clarify where you are seeing the requirement of 2 Auxiliaries.
Regards

Yeah it's just 2 Demis in a Gladius, which needs a minimum of 1 Auxiliary (not 1 Auxiliary per Core like the Necron Decurion)

Definitely needs clarifying. Most lists here include 2 Aux.
I guess if you read the letter of the rule, the Detachment just needs 1 Core and 1 Aux. Then the free transport bit just says 2 Demis. So technically, 1 Demi + Aux, and then a 2nd Demi (says nothing about the 2nd Demi needing an Aux). Now Im confused.

No need for clarifying anything. One is in total , as a Demi is core which is 1-2

Gladius says: You bring 1-2 Cores and 1-n Aux choices to form. Special rule: If you bring 2 Demis as Cores, you get free transports.
Decurion says: You bring 1-n Cores. Each Core choice must bring 1-10 Aux choices.
So if you wanted to bring 11 Flayed Ones units in a Decurion detachment, you'd have to bring two Reclamation Legions - since each Flayed One counts as one Aux choice.
And if you want to bring two Reclamation Legions, you have to bring at least two Aux choices.
You could bring 11 10th Companys (33 Scout Squads) with a single Demi-Company and it would still be a valid Gladius. However you may NOT bring 3 Demi-Companies in one Gladius (limit is 2), you'd have to create a second Gladius which in turn requires you to bring another Aux.

Although to be fair it's a temporary definite "no" - Forgeworld apparently is working on some kind of FAQ / rule update for using their models with the new Codex editions - I asked for details on the Gladius and on how we are supposed to field FW models like the Deimos Predator Executioner and got this reply:
