Wow - the yellow on these looks fantastic. Love the checks and the grots add such character to the models.

Thanks for sharing

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

Perhaps it is a lube issue, seems obvious now.

I don't take pictures of my miniatures all that often. So it is good if someone else does the work for you. Two weeks ago I played a 1000 pts Freebootaz list with my orks and was voted 2nd (out of 63) for Best Painted Army. Here are some pics.

Love it! Great conversions and gives a lot of inspiration for a fellow ork player!

Completed some bases for my Chinork Warkopta's. I like to tell a little story with these bases as bare rock is so dull.

This little grot managed to put some turbo rokkits on the back of his boss' bike. Trying them out is a choir all to itself and doesn't go all that well.

Time to call in the help of a mate and together drag the bike out of the rocky pool. The testrun was succesful I suppose.

Just stumbled over this Plog and boy, it is brilliant! Love the checkers, well done and amazing to see applied to your whole army. Speaking of whole army: LOVE THE ARMY SHOTS!
All in all, great project!

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like soup. Now you put soup in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put soup into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now soup can flow or it can crash. Be soup, my friend.

Thanks a lot! Painting checkers can be a hassle (when doing too many) and a lot of fun at the same time.

Played a nice tourney this weekend and was runner up for best painted army. Here are some army shots of the force I took. Amongst which the latest conversion: two new Chinork Warkopta's, a Bonebreaker, Wazbomb Blastajet and a Bikerboss.

And the army in Action.

Haha, nice idea to make them airborne again! close to no wings, no aerodynamics - looks like the only run on a overtuned engine...proppa orky!!!

Some armyshots of the expanding army. This was at the last tourney I played at.
