Just a quick one and not sure if it works
But a prime joined into a unit lets the unit use its ballistic skill of 4, and an exocrine gets a plus 1 ballistic for not moving.
So if I put a prime in a unit with an exocrine does that mean it gets a ballistic of 5.

Isn't the Exocrine a Monstrous Creature?

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

The Exocrine is a Monstrous Creature, and the Prime ability only works on Warriors and Shrikes. Two reasons for a no.

Also, wouldn't the BS of 4 count as a set modifier as far as multiple modifiers come into play? Or am I over thinking things?

If I sound like I'm being a condescending butthole, I'm not. Read my reply as neutrally as possible, please and thank you.

Nope you are correct. Even if the prime could give it's BS to the Exocrine (which is cannot) it would override the exocrines bonus for not moving because setting values always happens last.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Thanks for this.
Sorry I had to ask, only been playing for a few months and I'm still learning.

It's fine, that's what the forum is for!

Besides, it's better you ask about something you're unsure of and be told that's not how it works as opposed to just trying it and being accused of intentional foul play.
