I'm new to painting and here are some pictures with further progress from what I posted into my Introduction thread.
Tac Squad finished at 50% and I'm planing this as a successor chapter of the Ultramarines.
Unfortunately the results are nothing close to what I expected after seeing so many tutorials. And custom decals are not ready yet.

I'm using some Tamyia paitns and unfortunately I dont have nuln oil and other cool citadel stuff:

Short fluff - *story is in progress*

This one is a bit large thou and that's why I'm placing it as spoiler

To say you've not been doing this very long, these are lovely.

May I suggest to take some photographs on a pale background like white paper, so we can see them a little better?

Thanks for the advice. I will do this once I'm ready with the squad.
Until then this is the best I can managed with some flashlight:

I'ts just that the camera is really bad and I have problems with the light.

How long is considered 'not very long'? Because those are damn good for someone who's new! I've been going at it since October or November and those are easily just as good (I would even say easily BETTER) than anything I've produced!

Do what you love and love what you do. Like sell firewood.

1 month, but because I'm really busy progress is slow. Thanks, glad you like it. I'm really new to the hobby the pictures are a bit misleading. When they are all finished I will make photos with proper photo tools and you will see that they are not that great.

Don't trash your work, they're good. They're allowed to have faults. You're doing the right things in the right places, so next up is practise!
To use an abstract example, there's a reason folk take driving lessons before taking their test... Nobody gets straight into anything.

You are absolutely right!
However, what teases me atm is.... why there are no left handed models. I've spent couple of hours trying to figure out how to assemble my sergeant a bit differently than suggested in the assembly sheet. I wanted his pointy hand to be placed on right shoulder and put a gun into it, but since the arm is designed to hold left swords and all guns are right handed i finaly give up.

That's odd, I remember my Tactical Marine box coming with a plasma pistol and bolt pistol for each arm, and a chainsword for each arm. Does the new Tactical Marine kit not have those? What a shame.

Unfortunately it does not have. I tried a lot of things: like replacing arms or just cut hands from parts and glue them but gave up and decide to just put a sword into the pointy hand. Not to mention that the bases in the box were 9 not 10.
But at least there are a lot of parts that I can use for accessories. One of the sergeant "aprons" I put on a shoulder to other marine and you have 16 heads to chose from. Overall I'm satisfied.

As promised to Buttery Commissar, I am adding High Res Images on a proper lighting. Sergeant is added to the squad and Now I realize that this cannot be 10th company since those are not Scouts.

Very clean! And thank you for the brighter photography!

I would suggest that if you are not going to put basing materials on for now, paint the bases black, and cover up the little splashes and smudges, it'll highlight how cleanly painted your figures are.

Those are looking so good I can "bearly" handle it!

What is your full army going to look like? Are you going for the full Company size or something more manageable?

Thanks! Every next model I do it seems to be better and better.
I was planning to glue some cement dust on the bases, so it will look like they are fighting on some moon terrain. But painting the particles of black seems like a good idea for now. Thank you for the hint.

Thank you too For now I'm planing a 750 points army that will be bike hit and run based army - A rhino, six bikers, captain and a whirlwind or a Thunder fire canon, but I'm not really sure how it will work out and it's a bit risky. The main goal is 1500 ofcourse, but I have no idea what exactly it will look like. I'm currently waiting for a Whirlwind to be arrived and it's mainly for a painting purposes for now and later I can go for 3 whirlwinds with storm speeders.
