What is your guy's opinion on this type of paint? For me it changed my life, first time I have ever had "fun" using a paint. Now my blood letters swords look right! Right and gory.

I'm sort of torn here, because it does look good by itself, but there are better looking ones by comparison.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Nope, I already had a recipe for fresh blood that works better than my attempts with bftbg.

I like it, but not on it's own. I stiple rhinox hide first, then some khorne red on top, and finally bftbg on top to get different layers of dried blood. I find that gives a more natural and less bright effect.

PIcs or it didn't happen (and I have no idea what it is).

It works like a very thick dark red wash that dries glossy. I don’t use it for blood very often, but do enjoy it. I put a layer of it on the wax of purity seals, dry brush it on cords/tassels, and use it for gems over a silver/gold base.

Wonderfull stuff.

In my opinion it is a great paint to play with. I use it with almost any chaos/nurgle weapon as the sprinkled blood adds tons of character to those rusty weapons!

Works great for me, if not overused.

Is this a type of blood ink made by GW?

Is it any better than Tamiya red ink? Or Daler Rowney Ink - Flame Red?

Currently playing: Infinity, SW Legion
