So, with the Age of Sigmar looming, it looks like GW won't be selling their nice 20mm square bases for long. Are there any sites that sell bases like them, i.e. 20mm, square, slightly raised with no embellishments?

Well age of sigmar is not the new warhammer fantasy it's simply a skirmish scale introductory type game. Fantasy 9th edition is still on its way. My flgs owner spoke to a gw rep and fantasy 9th is separate from aos completely. I'd hold on for a bit and see what 9th actually brings.

Either you or your FLGS owner has misunderstood. Yes, AoS is separate from Warhammer Fantasy.... but there is no 9th edition coming. AoS is it.
