Is this WW1 Memmorial Mark Four Tank Replica matches its original size?

I've found this while Googling. Of course The Tank Museum (UK) DID undertake a project to comemmorate the First World War. Where the gas-powered tracked siege engine (later called Tank) shown up. (as a desperate measure to break trench deadlocks of the time). This reenactment shows how tank and infantry are tag teamed in WW1 ,also shown is its size compared to infantrymen.

From what I see this tank appears to have a dimension ratio of Leman Russ of the far future. it was shorter than what I've though of the WW1 tank. (I've also found out that The Tank Museum didn't build this replica but the other one. this one appears to be built by Queen's Own Lancers regiment)

Spoiler:

^ This replica is an actual replica, it is significantly longer but not as long as the modern day Challenger 2

My thoughs on this. Is this reenactment team creates Life Sized Leman Russ? next time they should do it.

The Mk1 tanks came in various sizes. IIRC the male was the largest with the long hull, with the female being smaller and a third variant which was smaller than that. However I'm no expert, so the size based on the sexes may be incorrect and instead it was just the Mk which determined that. Yes though the Landraider style one is about the medium size I think.

But the ones i've saw has a rhombic track bogie that resembles Leman Russ rather than Land Raider. OK Leman Russ has 120mm main gun mounted on its turret but these early day tanks aren't. But the 'compact' aesthetics is also a feature of Russ.

Gender-classification of WW1 tanks were based not only its size, but also weapons. 'Male' has (I think) 75mm 'main gun' mounted on its sponsons while 'Female' has Lewis MG (Why? Why not Vickers?) mounted in the same hardpoints. Female also smaller but NOT THIS compact.

EDIT: Personally a fanmade 'Your Disco Needs You' video should include THIS replica tank in the video.

Bovington have a replica that they get out for battledays and the like but one of the original WW1 tanks is running but they rarely take it for a spin. It's very thirsty for fuel and they're quite fragile due to metal fatigue etc. Bovington also has a replica A7V they apparently take for a drive too. They're both accurate for size.

They also kept the SJWs happy by giving some tanks one of each gun and calling them Hermaphrodites.

Somewhere in south-central England.

Classification into Male or Female was purely based on the armament, not the size. The Male version had two 6-pounder guns and two machine-guns in its sponsons. The Female version had four machine-guns.

I think Peter Jackson has a replica which he runs at events in New Zealand.

I'm not sure this belongs to Peter Jackson but I know he is very keen on WW1.

It is actually easier to build a WW1 tank now than it was at the time. Modern engines and gear-boxes are much better.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

In the Peter Jackson Museum commemorating the first world war they have an epic replica that is cutaway on the side and underneath. You can see all the crew posed in their doing their thing. Looks amazing.
