I'm buying my army in 500pt stages, up till 1500pts.

Stage one:
10 Fire warriors
10 Fire warriors
1 Broadside - Velocity tracker, HYMP
Ethereal
3 Crisis suits - plasma rifle, missile pod

Stage two:
10 Fire warriors
5 Pathfinders
5 Pathfinders
Hammerhead - Ion cannon, SMS
3 Crisis suits = Plasma rifle, missile pod

Stage three:
10 Fire warriors
Commander - CiB, plasma rifle, shield
Hammerhead, Ion cannon, SMS
Hammerhead, Ion cannon, SMS

I think the commander has a little too many points put into him, not sure.
I have 68 points left over, might use them for DS fusion crisis suits.

68pts left get a ADL and you still have 16pts left over

Throw an aegis in there and thay seems pretty good! Although I'm very found of the fire base.

Do you know the rules for the Aegis? from what I've seen they're a bit sketchy.

What do you mean.? What about the rules do you find sketchy.? You deploy it within your half of the broad and each piece need to be touching at least one other piece

I don't think you ever really want to use pathfinders. If they move they have to snapshoot. Even without a dude with a drone controller drones are better. They are 1 more point to always fire at ballistic skill 2 instead of 1 which pathfinders always fire at, and they have better toughness and save.

Why are you moving your pathfinders? They have a 36" range and a scout move, they should be in cover marking targets. Also drones are 3 points more per model

I don't think I'll move them, I'll put each squad at the end of my firebase to provide markerlights to the rest of my army. Also, you can get marker drones?
