In this short battle report, Captain A's BAO Space Marine/Grey Knights list takes on The French Overlord's Skitarii Drop Pod list that he brought to the event.

Great video. Personally, I really prefer these short-hand vids over the full length ones. The longer ones would be okay if they were edited to keep the action going ala MWG's reports, but in their current format they just feel really unengaging.

Totally understand, but, MWG format theirs for YouTube, they have a single narrator of events allowing them to cut it up. Ours our formatted for Twitch, which is why they are longer as you need the interchange between both players. And it takes just as long to create a short form video bat rep as a long form video. We simply run out of time in the week to do both in many cases.

Wow... Very impressive win for the Admech. I'd like to see a rematch where CenStar goes first. If Captain A wasn't using the Librarius Conclave I'd like to know why - the army lists at the beginning of the batrep scroll really fast.

Edited - so CenStar did go first and there was a Conclave - an even more impressive win.

I'd drop one of the dreadknights for even more gravcents.

Really happy to see the short videos again as well.

And I had to wince watching the Grey Knights take such a whoopin. I feel like that list is far too reliant on one unit to get a lot of work done, but love the psychic firepower!

Might I suggest that you put a timer on your Batreps, much like a normal tournament would. That would help keep the action flowing along rather than stalling quite often.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if they did follow a tournament timer, wouldn't that still result in a longer Battle report?

Yeah, we just had a game go 4 hours last week

That was waaaaaaaay too long. Both my opponent and I didn't mean to do it, it was a very fun game, but yeah, that was ludicrous. We have been talking about timers, too. I think it needs to have a time limit.

I think we need to time the turns, that way we can have a set start and stop time so folks can plan to watch the show.
