I've recently started out Necrons, and decided to do a fluffy army instead of the usual fair. I have a box of warriors painted, and a battleforce on the way.

What should I do next, and how would I want to play the army and organize it?

All suggestions appreciated.

Well the Decurion IS fluffy, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

The solid core is dependent on what you want your Overlord to do, and what you want as your Auxiliary. For example, I have 4 Doom Scythes as my single auxiliary. So, I would want Nemesor or a Royal Court Stormlord as my Warlord. If I wanted a Royal Court with a bunch of "sergeant" Lords, I might want to use The Infinite.

It's entirely dependent on what you really want, to be honest. This codex has the goods to help deliver, though a Trazyn force would be REALLY hard to pull off.

Indeed - what sort of bastard would want to use their codex?

I'd start with a CAD designed around the reclaimation legion. this gives you a starting point for both options of list building.

go for something like the following:

1 Overlord
4 Units of Warriors
2 Units of Immortals,
1 Unit Lych Guard,
1 Unit Tomb Blades

Comes to approximatly 1000 points,it's a solid fluffy unit that can be deployed as a CAD, or as a Reclaimation Legion

from here you can eaither continue to build as CAD picking and chosing as you like. or you can begin to build auxillery forces and get a nice decurion going.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I like that idea of forces, especially because you can array it in a neat 'battle formation', as it were. Something like Shieldguard in the center, with Overlord/CCB in or just behind. On either side of the hard point, you put a score of warriors, each with ten warriors in a ghost ark behind. Even father out, you have immortals on the ends acting as the skirmishers. Tomb Blades going on a flank or ahead.
Pack in an aux formation or two, you got a Decurion.

Might work, might not. Sounds fun either way. You could collapse warriors on the middle/sides if heavy resistance is encountered, and vice versa. This is an idea I'd playtest if I could.
