I'm looking to get a PS Vita. Originally I was planning to rebuy an XBox 360 but unfortunately I'll be moving to a much MUCH smaller place and won't really have room for setting up a TV and system. I decided to go for a portable system. I decided on the VITA since I should be able to play some of the PSP games I bought on the PlayStation Network.

Aside from the PSP and PSone games that I have I was looking to see about getting actual Vita games as well. Anyone have any suggestions? Not really looking for any shooters... I'm thinking mostly RPGs and strategy games I guess... oh fighters are cool too.

Thanks!

I've had tons of fun with Muramasa Rebirth, Killzone Mercenary, Wipeout, LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Pixeljunk Shooter.

Just be aware it's basically a dead system to Sony. They're no longer actively developing for it outside of their Japanese studios, which rarely get localised, and occasional games from third parties and indies,

Sony are all about advertising it's remote connectivity to a Ps4 now.

I'm cool with unsupported systems... I'm one of those kooky fools that kept up with his Panasonic 3DO before its laser died

Thanks for the ideas... I'll definitely check out LittleBigPlanet for the Vita... I enjoyed the PS3 version.

Persona 4 is amazing if you haven't played it, HIGHLY recommend it.

Somewhere between England and New Zealand.

Got my Vita Day 1 and I love it but it makes me sad that it sin't getting love elsewhere. Personally I blame the advertising, When people see me on it they still think it's a PSP whereas they all know what a 3DS is. If no one knows about it, no one's buying it...The last proper big release was Freedom Wars and that was a while ago.

The games are all suprisingly high quality, think PS2 25/75 PS3 and control really well with the 2 analog sticks. Little Big Planet Vita is good, especially with the touch screen and motion mechanics that actually fit in well, but having to listen to all those tutorials again (and you HAVE to to unlock a new feature) made me want to kill myself.

Games I recommend:
- All the one's Loki mentioned.
- Freedom wars.
- Gravity Rush.
- Soul Sacrifice.
- Tearaway.
- Mortal Kombat or Injustice ports have identical gameplay to the console versions but a severe visual downgrade, if you like them.
- Need for Speed port is kind of okay.
- Divekick.
- Dragons Crown (just ignore the boobs)

There's more but I can't quite remmeber them now. There's some PSPsgames available on it such as the GTA games and some PS3 games if you buy them on PSN can be downloaded onto the VITA, same with some PS4 games.

You can probably find one cheap somewhere 1st or 2nd hand.

I have a bunch of PSP games from PSN network that I plan to download to the memory card on the PSP.

Thanks for the suggestions folks!

My Vita arrives next week... maybe midnext week... hopefully...
