There has been alot of info and batreps for the old Adamantine lance but I haven't seen many House Hold detachment or Exalted Court detachment.

I would like feed back from experienced IK players please.

Is getting the Ironstorm Missile pod worth it on the Paladin? Both battle cannon and ISMP are 72" and allows the Paladin to blast a weak horde.

Is getting the Storm Spear Rocket pod worth it on the Warden? The avenger is decent at cracking light transport and MEq so would 3 more shots at S8 ap3 be worth it?

Is the Crusader just better overall? Which upgrades should it take?

How do you form a TAC team of 5 IK?

If the enemy tries to MSU strategy, is there a way to make it less anoying?

Can IK only list ever become competitive or are they just there as allie support?

The Stormspear is the better upgrade on any Knight. It even out performs the Icarus against Flyers.

The Ironstorm has a nice synergy with the Rapid Fire Battlecannon, and can work out for a player that wants that synergy. However, it is still a weaker choice than the Stormspear.

The Icarus only shines when being used in the formation that gives them re-rolls.

As to the Knights themselves, the Warden is the best "generalist", with the Errant next. The Paladin is good, as is the Crusader, while the Gallant is cheaper and saved points can be exactly what you need.

A TAC Kight list is 5 Knight Household at 1850 points, 2 Wardens, an Errant, and 2 Gallants, which nets some room for upgrades, all scoring. The Baronial Court turns the same Knights into at more defensive army by exchanging ObSec for bonuses to their invul save. Or an Exalted Court for access to more bling.

I wish the warden can carry 2 avenger gatling cannons. The Paladin carrying 2 rapid fire battle cannons.

Also wish I can shoot guns at other targets while being locked in combat.

I wish I could take a Crusader with two Thermal Cannons, two hull mounted Stubbers, an Ironstorm on the right shoulder, and a huge spotlight on the left shoulder, all painted black with red hourglass on its chest. The pilot's name would be Natasha, of course.

I have seen them and most are old with senschale rank system not the High King or Knight Kommander.

Not the ones with AdMech.
