Subject: Did Horus cause the scattering of the Primarchs?

Re-reading False Gods recently I noticed that when Horus is having his vision on Davin, he not only seems to see the infant Primarch's in the Emprah's lab but he also is physically there to a degree and is even influencing events. Custodes can plainly see him, though according to Erebus they forget he's there shortly after. In particular, as soon as he appears a Warp vortex seems to form in the laboratory that sucks all the Primarch's pods into it.
This got me thinking that if in a time paradox/12 Monkey's twist, Horus caused the scattering of the Primarchs (and in turn, his own exodus from Terra) by going back in time to the Emperor's lab and unwittingly giving Chaos the opportunity to do the vortex thing.
Thoughts?

It seems likely that the Chaos Gods just brought him back in time to witness it, and used it as an opportunity to infuse Horus with Chaos Energy (there would be a great deal involved in teleporting him through time and space, and it would be a great time to begin the physical corruption of Horus), as well as to turn him against the Emperor, who probably assumed that Horus was just an image that the Chaos Gods were using to dissuade him from attempting to stop them.
Also, no, Horus did not kidnap himself. There was nothing in that passage to suggest that he was the one perpetrating the act, he was nought but a witness.

I actually think there is a Paradox.
I believe Horus was not just a witness. Yes he didn't perpetrate the act for that was the Chaos Gods (most likely Tzeentech's plan.). He was an inadvertent player in those events. It makes sense that the temporal teleportation was the event that teleported the primarchs across the galaxy as a side effect (a good side effect from Tzeentech's point of view).
Teleporting Horus back in time to witness the scattering of the Primarchs is what caused the scattering of the Primarchs. I don't believe Tzeentech would miss an opportunity of such delicious irony.

Wasn't there a mention of Horus seeing a being with a pair of red swords? If so..

Lesser Daemon of Chaos

If the time travel shenanigans were real and not just an illusion, then we know who caused the warp rift that scattered the Primarchs. In the First Herectic, Angel Tal and the Gal Vorbak are taken back to the same moment as Horus but in a different area of the vaults. The Daemon Ingethel takes them to a gargantuan generator, which they realise is a gellar field, the biggest in existence. Which is clearly being used to shield the Palace from warp interference. It is one of the Gal Vorbak that destroys the generator, which causes a warp rift, which then scatters the Primarchs. One of them even mentions hearing what sounds like Horus, shouting in the distance (which would account for him being brought back to the same place in time). Again this is still up for debate if the visions they all saw were happening or just a memory of something that already happened, but if it was real, then Horus was responsible for the disaster of one of the lost primarchs, as he accidentally breaks the glass on one of the capsules (I don't remember if it was the 2nd or 11th) and it decompressed as it is sucked into the warp.
This would be a nice explanation for later events if it was in fact real. I like to believe that it was real, as Ingethel seems genuinely afraid of drawing the psychic attentions of the Emperor when the Word Bearers first arrive, and seems very intent on getting the my to break the gellar field. On the other side of the argument; if the gellar field was still intact then theoretically it shouldn't have been possible for Horus, Ingethel and the Gal Vorbak to have warp jumped into the palace in the first place. And in fact it could have just been a test of the Word Bearer's loyalty by making them think they would cause the scattering. It's so far been left purposely ambiguous as far as I know.

I'm not saying he did it deliberately, rather that his presence was part of a Chaos plan and created a time loop.
It seems like if you combine this with the events of first heretic though, that both the gal vorbak and Horus indeed caused the scattering. They were clearly physically there and not just witnessing the past

Except for the fact that Horus's corpse was back on Davos being watched over by some priests.

The Warp can obviously make someone exist in two places simultaneously, and he was clearly there influencing events if you read it. People looked at him and even spoke to him.
