It's just over one month until it's released, is anyone else as hyped for it as I am? I've already preordered the day one edition, which is the first time I've ever preordered a game in my incredibly long life.

Honestly the series has been super hit and miss for me. I'll probably wait until it's been out a while and I get some feedback from people before diving in.

Is this going to be cutscenes with bits of gameplay shoved in between, or an actual game with some cutscenes?

It's meant to be like ground zeroes in that there are very few cutscenes. Mgs4 did go over the top.

I think that's an understatement




There are games shorter than this game's cutscenes

Oh yeah, finished the game with no cut scenes in less that five hours. With cut scenes it takes me at least 15.

From what all the reviews say so far, mgs5 is ment to be incredibly long.

I assume they will include several areas, instead of 1 like Ground Zeros. I really enjoy the new one though - it's nice to have to sneak into a whole base instead of being linear. Really looking forward to it.
